The fountain works perfectly fine and the chances are increased properly. I checked multiple times and also have data that shows that users get a little more eggs/shinies/meta-ables ON AVERAGE thanks to the fountain.

Having an 'increased shiny chance' does what it says it does - it increases your shiny chance. It does, however, NOT guarantee a shiny Pokemon on that day.
It's just a small increment of your chance to get one. The amount by which the chance increases is not known publicly - but let me just say that much: it costs 100 PD, so you shouldn't expect a doubled shiny chance or anything like that...


Same with the increased daycare egg chance. The amount of eggs that you get from the daycare is random already. It is completely impossible to say that your chance isn't increased just because you got less eggs than on the day before - because you don't know how many eggs you would have received on that day without the chance booster.

Also the 'so many people are having bad experiences with the fountain' argument doesn't really work like that as well. Just because you see more users complaining about the chance not working than users who are happy that their chance increment works, doesn't mean that there are more users who are having negative experiences. That's just because users who have positive experience don't share that in their feeds very often or even look for bug report threads about it.

We've had the same issue with our flutes. There were (are?) some users who thought the flutes didn't work or even decreased their chances. And that's just not true as well. It's just a small amount of users who simply had bad luck. But they would have had even worse luck without the flutes. But, you know, there's no real way to prove that.
That's all just the nature of randomness.

MoonRabbit: For the shiny chance it doesn't matter if you send all cards to one user or different users :)

The chance increases very slowly first, but it goes up much quicker after some time.

The Rowan Task "Rowan's invention" (where you have to find six Machine Parts in Rumble Areas) has been improved. After finding at least 3 Machine Parts, the quest now gives you a hint and tells you in which Rumble Area you haven't found a machine part yet.

Wild Battling legendaries is completely different to battling Player versus Player. It's much quicker if you choose your Rumble Pokémon strategically (battles can be won with just 1-2 attack moves) and there's also no annoying delay where you have to wait for the opponent to choose a move.

Thanks to your great feedback during the Public Beta phase, we were able to fix all bugs in no time. And we are now ready to include battling into main features of PokéHeroes!
The first step are the Rumble Boss Battles. And - depending on how well this works out - maybe soon also in quests or other story parts of the game!


Strategic pro tip: As you might know, most special rumble areas only allow Pokémon of a certain type to enter. For example, only Water-Pokémon can explore the Marine Cave. Water is obviously not very effective against Kyogre. But don't forget about dual types! Choose a Pokémon like Ludicolo, which is both a Water- and a Grass-typed, and the victory is as good as yours!



Change Log:
&rarr; Rumble Boss Battles are now Wild Battles.
&rarr; Several bug fixes.
&rarr; The intelligence of the AI-system has been strongly improved.
&rarr; The performance of the battling system has been drastically improved.
&rarr; The battle system now consumes much less data volume, making it more mobile-friendly.
&rarr; The "Battle Log"-history has been replaced by live overlay text.
&rarr; Pokémon's stats do no longer increase after reaching Level 100 (unless their Effort Values increase)

Until February 14th, you can collect Sweet Hearts by showing love to your Pokémon (interacting) and by buying fluffy Dream World Plushies for your friends. The collected Sweet Hearts can then be used to buy Valentine's Cards. Everyone who sends out a card to at least three different players will receive a brandnew Event Pokémon on February 15th!
And as a special bonus: The more cards you send out, the higher is your chance to receive a Shiny Event!

The AI has been further improved. It is still possible that the AI chooses an uneffective move over an effective move, but with a much lower probability now.

Fixed :) Mega Gengar's base stats were indeed false.
(Loki's Mega Gengar still has a Special Attack stat value of less than 310, but that's because of its nature 'Adamant')

Another information that would be really helpful:
Next time it happens to you, choose a different move instead of the one that just failed. And then check if the move that is executed is the originally chosen one or the new one.

Ah I see. Well, yes, apparently thes used Alt+255, which is a blank space - but technically not the same as a regular space. This character is not considered a forbidden character by our engine; and it's also not possible to change that.

It actually shouldn't be possible to give a forum thread an empty title (try it out - you'll see that it will tell you "Please enter a thread title!", even if you put a bunch of spaces). I don't know what the user inserted, I'm guessing some special character that the server 'allows' but is then displays as no-character on the browser?
Unfortunately hard to find out now that the title has been changed :D
