I'd kinda like to leave that for now. When a Pokémon has a rarity, it means that they also have an Egg Dex Entry.
So we can either have an empty "Rarity" column or an Egg Dex Entry for them which you currently cannot obtain... I don't know what users would prefer :D

PokéHeroes 5th Anniversary
Feelin' old yet?

Welcome to PokéHeroes' sixth year! We've been online for half a decade now - can you believe that?
That's definitely a reason to celebrate!

Retro Radar Game

Five years ago, there was a terrible feature on PokéHeroes. A mini game so hated and rage inducing which never gave players any sense of pride or accomplishment. It was extremely painful. Simply. Painful. So painful that it was eventually removed.

Well, I'd say it's time to revive it!

<img src="//staticpokeheroes.com/img/shiny_radar/retro_example2.png" style="width: 200px; border: 1px solid"> <img src="//staticpokeheroes.com/img/shiny_radar/retro_example1.png" style="width: 200px; border: 1px solid">

The Retro Radar Game (originally: Shiny Radar Game) is a mini game where your aim is to hunt Pokémon of a certain species in order to find a Retro version of it. The longer your chain of Pokémon of the same species gets, the higher is your chance to find its Retro. Very similar to the PokéRadar that most of you should be familiar with.

However, instead of having to hatch these Pokémon from eggs in order to build up a chain, you have to find these Pokémon in the wild. During a mini game, Pokémon shadows will appear in the tall grass (see image above). Click on them to find out which Pokémon is hiding there!
Most of the time you will find regular (non-retro) Pokémon. You cannot catch them - but they will increase your chain (as long as they match the species recorded in your Retro Radar)! And eventually, as your chain increases, you will find a Retro Version the Pokémon species which can be caught with Poké Balls!

The Retro Radar Game is not a permanent feature this time - it's a time limited event!
There will be 6 Hunting Seasons (á 1 week). During each of them, three different Retro Pokémon species can be found.

<table id="blue_table" style="position: relative; margin: auto"><tr><th colspan=3>Hunting Seasons</th></tr><tr><th style="min-width: 30px">#</th><th style="min-width: 180px">Start / End</th><th>Notes</th></tr><tr><td>1</td><td>July 1st - July 7th</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>2</td><td>July 8th - July 14th</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>3</td><td>July 15th - July 21st</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>4</td><td>July 22nd - July 28th</td><td>Same Pokémon as in Season #1</td></tr><tr><td>5</td><td>July 29th - August 4th</td><td>Same Pokémon as in Season #2</td></tr><tr><td>6</td><td>August 5th - August 11th</td><td>Same Pokémon as in Season #3</td></tr></table>

So don't worry if there are Retros that you aren't able catch during Seasons 1-3, they will return in Season 4-6!

Next steps: Mobile version!

Playing PokéHeroes on mobile can be a bit tricky sometimes. Most features require zooming in or simply behave weirdly (like the Palpad, for example), which can be quite an inconvenience. That's why PokéHeroes has been made ready for a strongly improved mobile support during the last few weeks.
It's not fully ready yet to be released - but I can assure you that it looks very great so far! I've been testing it out myself for quite some time now and it's really much much easier and convenient to browse PokéHeroes on a mobile phone.
This update will be made public very soon. We want to make sure that everything works properly and is fully polished before releasing these huge changes, so please be patient! c:

The desktop version of PokéHeroes will not be affected by these changes.

Can anyone else confirm that the panels were cut off at a special characters (such as an é or a Unicode symbol like an emoticon or a heart)?

The issue is currently being investigated.
When you change your Custom Panel back to the text that it had before, did any errors occur or was it possible to properly "recover" it?

No that's not exactly what I meant! :D

That's what it would look like:

1. Open the Developer Menu
If F12 changes the brightness of your notebook, then try pressing Fn + F12. Or, like CatLady said, right-click and "Inspect element"

2. Click on Network, then try to move your Starter to a Box

3. Click on the "move_pkmn.php" - but only once! No double-click
The following window should open on the right:

Maximize that window and take a screenshot. Send it to me via PM please, because it may contain sensitive data.

Really sorry for the troubles, but that's kinda the only way to find out what's the issue! :)

Do you have special add-ons installed on your chrome browser?

It may also help if you do the following:
1. Go to the Storage Box page.
2. Press F12. A developer menu should open
3. In the developer menu, go to "Network"
4. Try to move your starter Pokemon to a box
5. In the network window, you should now see a new element called "move_pkmn.php". Click on it.
6. Take a screenshot.
7. In the developer menu, go to "Console".
8. Take a second screenshot

That would greatly help us, thank you! :)

Is the page generation time also slow for you? (The one that can be found at the very bottom of every page)

Slow means anything above 200 milliseconds.

That's very weird. I just tried it out and was able to move your Starter to any of your boxes without any problem.

Does it show any kind of error? And could you maybe try it with a browser and tell us if it works? o:

And could you also maybe show us a screenshot of how the storage box page looks to you? :) That would greatly help us!

The shiny star is shown because that information is loaded anyway for the main image of the Pokemon.

The mega-able state of the Pokemon has no direct influence on its image, therefore that information is not needed and not loaded (for performance reasons, yes)

13/06/2018:

It is no longer possible to hide your "Contact"-panel on your user profile (otherwise people wouldn't be able to report, block or add you to their friendlist).
However, an "Advanced settings" option has been added to the Profile Layout Settings page where you can hide your "Last action" from that panel.

12/06/2018:

You can now customize your userprofile with five different custom panels and change the arrangement of the default panels in your Profile Layout-settings!

The custom panels (aka "About Me") have also slightly been increased in maximum height.

06/06/2018:

The order of the Userprofile panels has been slightly changed.
"Last visitors" has been moved to the left below "Contact", while the "Badge Showcase" and the "Medals" have been moved to the right.
"About Me" is now above instead of below the "Plushies" panel.

It is possible that due to these layout changes, the Userprofile might look a bit stretched on mobile devices now, but don't worry, that will look much better in (near) future. These changes are part of a bigger project; please stay patient until then and don't panic :) Shouldn't be the case anymore.

The Party page received a small update. The drag & drop functionality has been replaced by simple "move to left/right"-buttons. This should make it more mobile-friendly! c:

The Wii U browser is basically just a very old Opera browser (Version 9.30, about 10 years old), which does not support all modern layout standards. Unfortunately, this can cause graphical glitches on some parts of the site.

It's a bit weirder for the iPad, though. How old is this one? (Which version?)
