Alright, listen here though.

When a lion hunts a zebra, the zebra try to run away. The lion actually has less than 1/3 chance of actually catching and successfully killing a zebra, since the zebra can not only run fast, but they have extremely powerful kicking force as well. Both sides get a chance.

When a human kills a chicken, the human has a 100% chance of successfully killing the chicken. Only the predator side gets a chance. The chicken can only submit and die at the hands of man.
