Thank you for sharing your feedback! I think your complaints are obviously very tough, but I think we all need to respect them. I also respect that you tried to include solutions in your points whenever possible :)

It's currently very early in the morning for me, so I have only skimmed over the points - but I'll be taking my time to think about your full feedback at a later point. There's just one thing I feel like pointing out already, because you're criticizing the mods based on a decision that actually I made - so I want to clear this one thing up.

The fact that mods only react when there's a report is true. That's what they're clearly instructed to do - otherwise we'd be living in a biased police state on here.
Mods only see a small portion of the global feeds and messages every day, so they heavily rely on your reports. If they see a user acting out themselves, they report it and then (if they have time right now) handle the report themselves. This step is required because every decision and action they make needs to be fully documented. Every report is always archived and mods always add notes and comments including further evidence or explanations on why they made certain decisions.
They are clearly instructed (by me) NOT to go around and search for rule violations. I just personally don't think this would be the right thing to do. That's why we have the report function after all.
If you don't use the report function, I honestly think you can't complain about user's behaviour either... It's a simple step you can make yourself to change things for the better.

Update #1: The PokéDex entries have been updated to include the shadow frequency of a species, as well as the sprite of the shadow version (only visible when there is at least one shadow version of this species on-site):

PokéHeroes is turning 6 today and that is one big reason to celebrate!

Shadow Pokémon

Attention residents of Emera Town: There's been an outbreak of Pokémon that are surrounded by a strange dark aura today! This outbreak seems to be similar to a one that happened a few years ago in a distant region, called Orre. Back then, these Pokémon were called Shadow Pokémon. A brave trainer was able to save the Orre-region from these Shadow Pokémon back then, but their mysteries were never really solved. Perhaps the trainers of Emera Town can uncover their secrets once and for all?

Our local computer scientist and favorite nerd in town, Bill, has quickly developed a new device, called the

Shadow Radar. This item makes it possible to find these Shadow Pokémon in the wild. It is available in the Item Shop after reaching Trainerlevel 20. You can either buy it with PokéDollars or with Nuggets.

Instructions:

After obtaining the Shadow Radar, you can start playing a new mini game. In this game, you are present with a 10x10 large field where Pokémon shadows will randomly appear. Clicking on them reveals the species. Your goal is to build a long chain of the same species - because the more of the same species that you find in a row, the higher is your chance to find a Shadow version of it.
While regular Pokémon cannot be caught in this mini game, Shadow Pokémon can! So don't forget to bring enough Poké Balls with you.

Details:
The species that can be found in the wild vary every day for every user.
→ Regular users have a set of three species available per day.
→ Premium members have a set of five species available per day.
You can only catch one shadow Pokémon per day. There are, however, upgrades available at the Item Shop ("Special" section) that permanently increase this limit.

Some species are rarer than others and require more experience. After catching more and more shadow Pokémon, you will start to find rarer Pokémon out there.

Currently, only Pokémon from the Kanto region are available as shadow Pokémon. In a few months, more regions will be added!

Shadow Pokémon cannot evolve. They can not be shiny.
They can also not be hatched from Pokémon eggs.

Shadow Pokémon ranklists and GTS filters will be added in the next few days.

Solar Eclipse Event

Tomorrow, on July 2nd, a total solar eclipse will be visible in some parts of the world! In order to celebrate this special occassion, we are hosting a new Event Distribution, where you can receive a brandnew Solar Eclipse Pokémon!
All you have to do in order to get your own Solar Eclipse event is to collect enough Activity Points until July 14th! Let's go ~ But be warned: Don't look at it for too long or you may damage your eyes!

Mew Plushie Event

<img src="//staticpokeheroes.com/img/dw_plushies/0151.png" style="float: right">The legendary Pokémon, Mew, has returned as a Dream World Event Plushie! It is available until July 19th and can be obtained by fulfilling Dream Point spending goals.
With every Mew Plushie that you obtain, the DP requirement increases. To get the first Mew Plushie, you have to spend at least 500 Dream Points at the DW Shop.
The 5th Mew Plushie that you get is a Shiny Plushie.

Starting on July 20th, everyone who claimed at least one Mew Event Plushie (during this event period) can obtain a Mew Egg at the Ancient Cave! The more Mew Plushies you obtain, the higher your chance is to get a Shiny Mew Egg!
