Title: Gecko Reviews: The Fun Fair

After being gone for almost a year and returning, I expected fireworks and an event in my honor but to my surprise there was none.. for about a month. The Fun Fair was released alittle over a month after I returner and when it was first released, I probably brashly called it "a massive success" and "the best event in PH's history". While this was obviously veru brash of me to say less then 30 minutes after the events releases, after about 10 days of it as of me writing this, I have to say..... its kinda just ok. Allow me to explain why:

After you do the maze, the ducklett fishing, the wingull game, and the applebobbing in the first hour or so, you have to wait maybe 15 minutes before you can fish again.... then another 15 before you can fish and do the wingull... then another 15 minutes before you can fish.... you get the jist.

Now while that timer isnt a huge deal, whats bad is that after maybe 15 or 16 times of fishing and/or wingulling, the time before you can do it again begins to go up, which is almost a death sentence for the wingull game (a nearly guaranteed 15 tickets every time you do it) but not too bad for fishing because you can just interact to lower your time right?? Wellllll, bad news, while it doesnt seem to have been officially announced, from what ive noticed, the more times you do the fishing, the less tickets you are able to obtain (note, this may not be accurate but from what I've noticed im my own experience, this is what happens).

Now in addition to all of this, you may have noticed there are only 4 things u can do at the fair. This leads to it becoming really repeatative... and really boring after like, 10 days. Its the main problem that the Ducklett game for instance suffers from because interacting is very repeatative after like, 300 and you need upwards of 1k Interactions to bring the timer down even 15 minutes (and if you aren't using multiple tabs or multiple devices to do this, 1k interactions usually takes 5-7 minutes anyways).

Now again, I should reiterate, this event is by no means a bad event. It is a pretty fun idea for new content with room for it to grow. This is the first time its ever been done on the site I fully expect it to be rough and I fully expect in the future for there to be more content, however at the moment, the events just ok at best so its a 6/10 for me.

Many years ago, two kingdoms began fighting a one sided war that resulted in the deaths of thousands. But one day the poor kingdom fought back against their oppressors on the day nicknamed "The Day the Thunderbirds Fell", defeating the army of elite soldiers known as The Cloaks and uniting the two kingdoms to create the kingdom of Telmar, restoring peace to their land once again.

Years later, when their liberty was threatened once again, they fought back against the Cloaks in a costly battle renamed "The Battle of Fallen Heroes", in which the greatest warriors of Telmar were either lost, injured, or in the case of one, broken

Two years later, the kingdom has healed its wounds and it’s army size has grown with the kingdom. But rumors have begun to spread of an invading army that has begun closing in on the kingdom, causing for all to be on high alert. And with the threat of the Cloaks still very real, the new Telmarian Council have begun to debate on whether to abandon their home or to fight once again… without their greatest warrior...

Title: How I Became PH's Greatest Psychic

People have always questioned how smart I am to which I just say... ya kinda right, but thats not the point. I have always had psychic powers, ever since I was a child for example, when I once stole a cookie from the cookie jar, I predicted I would be caught and behold, when my mom turned around and saw me, the jig was up.

More recently on PH, about a two and a half years ago, I began using my powealrs to predict when my shinys would hatch and sometimes it was right, other times I was still right, the shiny just didnt hatch.

But anyways, 2 and a half years ago I joined a PH meme page ~~here~~ and I began making fun of my good friend at the time, a person with the username "absol~girl" but who is now named Taavi.

The main premise of the jokes was that for around 2 or 3 years at the time, they had been SM hunting Absol and had found 0 SM's.... unlucky

The jokes were relentless, all hysterical, all good with Taavi, everything was fine and the jokes would stay relevant until Taavi hatched their SM.... which they eventually did but still

In the process of making fun of my friend, I made this joke which was funny but complex cus I have horrible english skills, however little did I know that my psychic powers were causing me to make that meme as alittle over 2 years later, Rice hatched twin SM's.... so congrats to them

I take all the credit however for them finding the twins though as my powers predicted and caused it to happen.

try reading it in a MoistCritical voice XD, thats how i wrote this lol. Big congrats to Rice though!!, from what I am aware of this is one of the first, if not the first time this has happened (or at least the first time ots happened since I joined PH)

~~Also, still doubt my powers? Im about to hatch my shiny hisuian arcanine... watch it actually happen, then i might actuallybe psychic~~

*Maya continued walking to her post before finally reaching it and being greeted by the sight of a one-armed man who appeared to be in in his mid 60's. In the hand he still possessed however, he had a tiny pocketwatch that he was looking at before looking up towards Maya. His face was scarred beyond recognition and had it not been for his right eyes unsettling gaze, he could've been mistaken as blind* Your late, Maya.

*Maya sighed and lifted her hand to her face to pinch the bridge of her nose as she shook her head.* Marius, when will you get that damn watch fixed? *Maya lowered her hand and looked towards him* I'm never la- *Maya was interrupted by a deep voice that emanated from another room. A big man who looked to be in his late 40's walked into view with a watch in his hand as well* No Maya, you're late again *Maya scoffed in disbelief but then the second man showed her his watch and her eyes widened. In contrast to Marius' watch which was never properly working, his was right on time and Maya let out an awkward laugh* Umm... oops?

*Marius leaned forwards in his chair and began to write on a piece of paper. As he wrote on it, he spoke to Maya* Show up late to your shift again, I will be forced to move you to the south wall. Understood? *He looked up towards Maya and ripped the paper to give to Maya. She gave him a slightly dirty look before snatching the paper from him and turning around to go to her post.*

Title: How I Became PH's Most Coincidental Personfinder

Plushies have always been great to me, since the gem update I find myself always getting lucky with dragon gems and other valuable ones, however for a solid 2 weeks I spent thousands of DP on plushies and didnt get a single dragon gem. In an effort to make money, I've been trying tirelessly to break my curse. So I came up with a new speed run strategy, save up to 100 DP then send out a Mega Charizard Plushie to a random user as thats the fastest option to click when you arent sending it directly to a user.

Its a fun method to use especially if you're like me and trying to find users you didnt know existed, but its even funnier when you randomly stumble upon that user because that can definitely lead to fun interactions or in most cases when your username is about a emperialistic lizard and your social skills on a scale of 1-10 is between discord mod and reddit user but anyways!

Many hours ago (7-8 from when im writing this), I sent out a random plushie and when I saw the username it looked new so I took a mental post it note of the users username but like all other post it notes i make, I put in my pocket, accidentally crumpled it up under my wallet and forgot about it.

However while stalking the notification wall for people asking questions or people being stupid, I saw a feed that when I read, I laughed so I hearted it and clicked on the users name to see who they were and while looking at their profile, I learned that not only according to them they were the 69th user on site, but they were also a recipient of the random plushie I sent out today... so ya know... coincidences

*Maya looked down at her arrows and pulled one out, handing it to Eliza to look at, but Eliza wasnt paying attention, leading to Maya putting it back. She head Eliza's question about death and immediately answered while only half paying attention to Eliza. She was more preoccupied on why the checkpoint gate wasnt being guarded* I believe that its your right to believe what you believe when it comes to death- excuse me *Maya suddenly tan towards the ladder that lead to the checkpoint gate and began climbing it, but about halfway up, a guard looked down towards her*

Our shift isnt over! *Maya let put a sigh of relief as she saw him looking down towards her, before shouting back at them so they could hear them* Open the gate, I'm heading to my shift! *The guard groaned before disappearing back behind the wall. As Maya climbed back down, she heard the wood gates begin to creak as they opened for Maya and others to pass through. Once down, Maya spent a brief moment scanning the area for Eliza before making her way through the gate.*

*As Maya lowered the floorboard, she heard Cleivar's condescending voice speaking to her. She sighed and spoke monotonically towards him while not giving him the satisfaction of seeing her eyes* Piss off, Cleivar. *She heard a floorboard creak and suddenly her head jolted up and looked right at Cleivar, causing him to stand down. She finished up what she was doing and stood up to see Samton and nodded her head in acknowledgement before continuing with her morning routine. She went towards her bed and put her arrow holster over her shoulder before grabbing and admiring her bow. She plucked the string with her left pointer finger before pinching it with her hand and raising it. She slowly drew the string back as she tested its strength beomfore closing her right eye as if she was about to fire. "I can't remember the last time I saw a night sky not clouded with smoke and fire".
That was the last thing I heard my friend, Setanta, say before he died in his sleep. Like most, he didn't have control of how he died. But unlike most, he died peacefully. Not in excruciating pain. Not pleading for his life. He just went to sleep that night and never woke up. To this day, I dont know what to think of his death. Should I curse the world for taking the person who had been like a father to me for many years, or do I get on my knees and thank it for letting him go in a way many dream they could go. One thing is for sure though, thats not how I will leave this world. I will leave it like hundreds of thousands do every day, on the battlefield-

*A sound of a horn filled the air and Maya jumped in fear and looked back towards her door. She then let out a sigh of relief as she soom realized it was just the horn for the soldiers to wake up. She turned backwards towards her diary and dabbed the quill into the ink with her left hand continued writing what would be her last entry.*
