"Well, the name's Itsu. And yeah, that sounds pretty rude. You'd think they'd at least just dim their side of the room, but not everyone wants to study right now I guess. Most of us are just trying to get settled. I suppose you've already unpacked?" She studied the other dragon, warily noting what she had said about her mood affecting her powers, anger would probably not do anything good. She glanced back at the dorm she'd come from. Whoever stayed with her might be in for a bad time when she woke up, but that wasn't Itsu's concern, perhaps she wouldn't end up with any...rude roommates.

Itsu was walking speedily out of the great hall as always. Domino had swiftly jumped onto her back and did a sort of fox version of a cat loaf, him being a canine he couldn't fully manage it, but it was cute nonetheless. She was starting to like her little backpack fox. Vix had always settled for riding her luggage, if she had any, or simply weaving underfoot while Itsu was walking. It was annoying, but the dragon tolerated it for love of the animal.

She made her way back to the Rose Quartz dorms, perhaps she'd get to properly meet her roommates this time. Her stuff was pretty much unpacked by now, as she hadn't brought much. She was stopped in her tracks by the sound of a large dragon storming out of a female dorm nearby, and turned to see the hybrid from the ceremony storming out, as if irritated by something Itsu lacked the context to know about. "Oh hey...!" Itsu greeted the dragon, or started to, before cutting off realizing she'd never actually properly been introduced to her. "What was your name again? I don't think you properly said." Domino perked up at the strong energy radiating from the crackly dragon, and stayed embedded in the Kitsune dragon's fur.

Upon the ceremony coming to a close, Illusionist gave a quick goodbye to Halu, expressing he hoped to run into the shiny storm dragon again, and headed off to the dorms, carefully, so he wouldn't be trampled by the rush of students in a rather unreasonable hurry to get to their dorms. Maybe now he'd get to meet the dragons he'd be staying with. The dragons that would be his friends for the year. They had to be, as they'd be forced to deal with each other until graduation day.

The black dragon made his way to the Diamond dorm, where he'd left his luggage, hoping to get a chance to actually unpack this time, before being pulled off to another ceremony or whatever. He clicked his keycard and swiped his luggage up from where he'd been forced to leave it near the door. Sniffing the air, he found a bed that appeared to be unclaimed, and busied himself emptying out his things, neatly putting them away in the dresser nearby the bed. His clothing, his toys, his cards, family photos he'd been forced to take, and the little tablet that he'd use to give his family updates. A bit cheesy of his parents, if you asked him, but he could play games on it, so he wasn't complaining.

"Illusionist." The little black dragon answered eagerly. An odd name for sure, very litteral, once one got to know him. As the other dragon--Halu--uncoiled his snakelike body, Illusionist admired his pretty scales. They'd looked sleek and sparkly to him even at a distance, but now Illusionist could see the vast array of cool, dark colors that decorated his scales. Illusionist could faintly hear Halu at his normal volume, on account of using his fins and frills to create a sort of cone around his upward facing ears, trapping sound, buf he appreciated the other dragon accomidating him.

Sitting back in the seat he had helped himself to, Illusionist only regretted he had left all his toys at the dorm. He still hadn't properly met his dormmate or mates when the meeting was called, so he had little to share, but he hated awkward silence, so he continued. "Those are some nice eyes you have. It looks almost as if a storm is coming from them. A sparkly storm. It's cool." He commented on the particles coming from the snake dragon's eyes, glowing with an almost mystical vibe to them. Perhaps some would turn away at the sight of them, but Illusionist was known for being fearless, or perhaps crazy, as was his nature.

Itsu eyed the sparks warily as the crackly dragon took out a book to show her, but decided they weren't a huge threat for now. She studied the book the stranger showed her. Did this dragon unironically read geography books? Odd, the only geography Itsu had ever cared for was the layout of the mountains she had been raised in. "Er, I hope you manage to impress them." Itsu replied awkwardly. She had no idea what to persue after school. Art, maybe? Veteranary care? Probably not, as the only animal she had expertise in was the fox, though she wondered again if that could change. Maybe she wasn't realizing her full potential just yet. She had never needed to, nor did anyone else in her family. That might be about to change as well.

Itsu cautiously wrapped her tail around Domino, who was staring hungrily at the bird. It seemed the raven was a companion to the new dragon, and she knew how her foxes were about birds. She was lucky Domino was the only fox with her, as she didn't know what she'd do here if Vix and Eclipse had come as well. "That's right. But no, we aren't related to kitsunes, or foxes for that matter, though the ears may be a little misleading. We just tame foxes, symbiotic relationship thing. Also, take care to keep that bird out of their reach, even in their tame state, they won't hesitate to kill something." Ravens were smart, at least, if what she'd read about corvids was to be trusted anyway. The bird would know how to avoid the foxes, especially with a dragon protecting them, she hoped, but it didn't hurt to be careful.

Itsu's fox-like ears twitched at the sound of a pastel-colored creature crashing into the seat next to her. She was not expecting someone to sit beside her, let alone socialize at that. Strange question to open up with, too, but it wasn't like it was an uncommon question. "No." She replied. "I'm not even sure if the creatures are real, no one is." She reached a paw out to stroke the black and white fox, who she had dubbed Domino, for his coloring. The vulpine creature squinted his eyes and enjoyed it, sort of like a cat would, and let out a little happy noise that sounded almost like laughter. "Ever heard of a kitsune dragon?" She wouldn't be surprised if the other dragon hadn't, as the breed, like the supposed creatures they were named after, had the tendency to be solitary, though not nearly as mysterious, they just happened to live alone in caves in the alpine mountains, with only foxes as their companions.

Illusionist caught sight of iridescent scales nearby to where he was. A long, serpentine dragon with an eerie glow to his icy, stormy eyes. What an intriguing specimen, he thought, casually making his way to greet the snakelike dragon. "Hello!" He seemed to barely notice the dragon was probably focused on the neat little wind chimes that were faintly sounding above the roar of chatter. He settled in the seat next to him. "So...what's your name?" He tried to start, unsure if the dragon would hear him over the others, though he spoke as clearly as he could.

Itsu had no idea where to sit. She felt weird sitting next to complete strangers, wondering 'What the seat is secretely taken and I have to move somewhere else?' 'What if the dragons don't like me for some reason?' Irrational fears for sure, but she deemed them valid nontheless.

After a bit of wandering, she found a cluster of seats that were entirely vacant, and settled herself down, back fox helping himself to the seat next to her, curling his tail around his paws and staring ahead stunningly, his amber eyes mysterious. Itsu leaned back in the seat, clutching her tail in her front oaws, waiting for the ceremony to start.

Itsu just sorta moved with the current of dragons to the ceremony. Her back fox was, well, back. She had no idea where Vix or the grey fox, who she dubbed Eclipse for now, had gone, but she didn't worry. Perhaps they'd stayed at the dorm. Vix always returned, if no one else. Most of them did. Her soft paws avoided stepping on the other dragons. Flying in large crowds was not her strong suit. She was more agile on the ground than in air. Despite her fluffy appearance, Itsu was surprisingly muscular, her sheer bulk able to hunt wolves on a regular basis, her breed's natural diet.

On her way to the hall, she was rammed into by a smaller dragon. She turned to see a dark, yet sparkly dragon, looking apologetically at her.

Illusionist was speeding through the crowd when he unexpectedly hit a wall of red and white fur. It turned out to be one of the dragons he'd glimpsed among the others on the way to his form. He remebered her colors, but not her face. The dragon had oddly fox-like ears, and a fluffy hairstyle, and golden eyes. She was mainly white, with a mane along her back that faded into a red toward the base of her tail, feathered wings, and a tufted tail, with stripes of shades of red on it and her legs, from what he could see. Most notably was the black and white fox casually riding on her back. The creature stared calmly at him. Weird, foxes were normally skittish around dragons, maybe this was her pet or something? He didn't know, but foxes were an exotic pet from what he had heard. And rats were better, in his opinion.

She turned to look at him, and he ducked his head apologetically at her. "'Scuse me." He mumbled, heading past her to the ceremony, he faintly heard a quick response from the other dragon, and soon heard her pawsteps behind him. He soon joined the other dragons, sitting somewhere random since he had no friends yet.

Itsu barely noticed the other dragon in the room. She shrugged off her backback, along with the fox that had been riding her. She gently lifted Vix off her suitcase and emptied her stuff onto an unclaimed bed, which all three of her companions eagerly leaped onto, watching like kittens as she unpacked her stuff, consisting of jewelry, her laptop, some art things, and matches. Wait, matches? She lifted them up. When had these gotten in here? She saw a note attached to them, and read it.

Set something on fire. Hehe.

Itsu sighed. She knew who had sent this. The only thing she'd be setting on fire were the matches themselves. Unlike a certain serpentine dragon, she was not all about arson, despite being a fire elemental while the sender was in fact, not.

Upon taking out a few blankets, which she placed on the bed, as well as a few pillows for the foxes who would inevitably show up, Itsu stood back, taking a breath, and dragged her empty backback to the foot of her bed. She placed her jewelry box on a nearby dresser, sternly warning the foxes not to mess with it, as if they'd understand. She then leaped onto the bed with the foxes, who shamelessly settled themselves into her fur, it was then she looked around, and sensed another presence in the room. A dark presence.

Illusionist arrived a little late to the party, but the dragon was soon to dash eagerly through the halls, his luggage packed with little cloths and balls to be used to the other students' annoyance. He should be off to his dorm. The dorm key he'd been given had a diamond on it, and he had heard the dorms were named after gemstones, so he was quick to put two and two together.

He was sure his family loved him, but would not miss his magic tricks. They'd seemed rather annoyed at them the last time he used them. He was sort of conscious that other dragons might not appreciate his antics, but he was so incredibly proud of his art, he just couldn't stop! Why couldn't they understand? Besides, he'd never actually stolen anything. He'd always given it back soon after.

"I just hope your roommate doesn't kill you." His mother had joked before he left. Illusionist had scoffed. Perhaps his roommate would actually appreciate his tricks, unlike them. He loved his family, but he felt like they made mountains out of molehills at times.

After a bit of wandering, he finally navigated to the building housing the dorm, locating the one labeled 'Diamond'. "Ah." He muttered aloud, slipping the key card into the switch. With a click the door unlocked, allowing him inside.

Mischievous little bean. Even without using his powers, Illusionist is quite the...illusionist. In his arsenal are disappearing acts, illusions, pickpocketing, and a little bit of hypnosis. The sparkling yet sneaky shadow dragon loves to play tricks on people, then slip away to watch the aftermath. He isn't mean-spirited, but after enough of your stuff gets stolen, or you find yourself on the opposite side of the school building all of a sudden with no memories as to how you got there, it gets pretty annoying.

Illusionist is a very friendly dragon, if not very...playful. He loves to show off his magic tricks and use them for the sake of his friends as well if necessary. Apart from his mischievous nature, he's a very social dragon, and loves to chat and make friends. As well as this, he absolutely loves little animals. Particularly rodents. He loves rats and mice most of all, and he'll insist that they get a bad rap and that he wants one as a pet. Rodent or otherwise, he's a stubborn man who wants the best for his friends, and he is the last dragon you want to piss off. Those harmless pranks can turn painful, especially with a bit of actual magic involved.

Abilities:

Illusions
Illusionist can manipulate the minds of dragons to see, hear, and smell things that aren't really there. Dead spirits, shapes in the shadows, eyes in the lockers, you name it. The ability is quite strong despite the fact he doesn't use it often.

Blackout blast
Nothing special. Fire dragon's fire breathing but with a blast of dark shadow instead. It does have the added effect of blinding the opponent momentarily, though.

Sneaky boy
The dragon can slip into the shadows, becoming almost one with them as long as he pleases, as well as create shadows. He calls this shadow surfing. While in this state, he becomes invincible, at the cost of not being able to touch the physical world.

Itsu was sticking to the edge of the hall to avoid the crowd. There was a little black and white fox riding on her back. She didn't know when it had shown up, but she felt it, resting on top of her backpack. It was a good thing there was barely anything in there. Her suitcase was attached to her tail, where her favorite fox, Vix, a classic red fox with cute, deep blue eyes, was neatly riding the top of it, her fluffy tail dangling down. She was careful not to let any straying talons or sweeping tails hit her or the foxes on the way to the dorm. The animals were resilient, but she didn't want them getting hurt by the larger dragons.

She had received a note informing her that she belonged to the Rose Quartz dorm. She didn't know who or if she had any roommates. If she did have any, hopefully they weren't averse to the presence of the vulpine inhabitants. Not that she'd feel the need to make excuses for them. They would just be there if they wanted.

It seemed by now the crowd was starting to thin out. Itsu has a slightly longer body than most dragons her type. She wasn't serpentine by any means, but she was certainly more agile despite her size. She slipped through the crowd of new students making their way to the residence, before finally seeing a sign on the ceiling saying something about dorms before being swept along. She seemed to be heading in the right direction. She took a turn down a stray hallway, and finally got some breathing room. The crowd had all but completely vanished now.

Apparently, somewhere along that trip, a little grey fox carrying a small bird in its mouth had begun walking by her side like a little dog. Itsu just happened to notice it now, as it took this opportunity to skip ahead, sniffing the air. The foxes did get a lot more confident when around her. Usually they were skittish around other dragons, not that she'd really ever seen that side of them. She wondered if she could ever enhance her ability to tame other animals than just Foxes. Seemed like an odd power to only be able to tame one specific animal. But then again, it was always foxes that appeared seemingly out of nowhere when she was around.

She and the foxes strolled along the hall, looking for a room called Rose quartz. She was led outside, where she walked along a cloudy surface to another building. There seemed to be male and female dorms divided up. Made sense. She went to the one labeled Rose Quartz and used her key, intending to quickly drop off her luggage and leave again. Hopefully with less of a crowd when she went back out.

Personality:

Itsu is a rather shy, non-confrontational individual who prefers to be a ghost in the room, which she often jokes as being part of the whole 'kitsune dragon' thing. Despite this, she can be a rather stubborn dragon when provoked, and is very stuck in her opinions. She has a 'if you disagree, that's your choice, but you're probably wrong' sort of philosophy.

Itsu is a very friendly and talkative dragon when approached first, but otherwise, there are things she'd rather do instead. Despite her ability to ramble on about things, especially her foxes, she's not particularly fond of long conversation, driving some away. She's okay with being alone though, solitary nature is part of her breed. She finds it hard to keep up social situations due to a lack of interest, so she just doesn't.

Itsu is a very curious individual, so she is actually very intelligent in a lot of passionate areas, yet she insists she's a literal idiot. She has a problem with feeling dumb, convinced everyone around her is somehow smarter. She's very insecure, possibly stemming from not being used to getting to know people, and has a tendency to be pessimistic for no reason. Because of this, she mostly sticks to her foxes, who never judge her.

Abilities: Itsu is what is known as a kitsune dragon, not because she has the powers of a kitsune, or just because she sort of is colored like one, but she happens to have a strange ability to tame foxes. She always seems to be followed by at least one, usually more.

She can breath fire, as well as manipulate it. Usually she doesn't like to hurt others, but she likes to intensify heat so much that her opponent passes out from it instead. Usually she'll just wrap them in a ring of fire and stay out of the way.

She literally can not get cold. This makes her a difficult opponent for ice dragons, as most of the effects of their attacks are at the very least weakened, if not nullified entirely.
