A lot of genes give him that loud pink accent color which I personally don't like that much, but Pet/But works surprisingly well on him. It still gives him some pink elements but the shade is pretty soft and subtle; and there is also that blue-ish shade of purple that imho creates a sweet balance! Combine that with Wraith, and he makes for one hecking fabulous derg (though a little on the expensive side, but pffffft it's a primal boy, he deserves only the best)!!

While that may be true for actual random shinies - "chain 1" hatchlings - that doesn't apply to chains higher than that.

I once hatched a Shiny Numel at chain 2 (got lucky with random lab adopts haha) and my PokéRadar did take notice of it:

(That was before the PokéRadar update, as you can see by a) the date and b) the layout, but I don't think much of the mechanics would've changed with the update regarding the shiny/mega/shiny mega display options.)

HOWEVER. That was a premium chain, therefore it didn't break, of course.
Going by pure logic here, though, a non-premium chain (provided your radar actually having been turned on beforehand) should break if a shiny hatches at chain 2 or higher since, well, it's a chain, eh? The premium radar counted the shiny, so I don't see why a non-premium radar wouldn't.

How a non-premium radar behaves when confronted with a "chain 1" shiny however, I have no actual information (no firsthand experience) at this point, so I cannot confirm or deny anything here, as I only ever hatched random shinies while either being premium or not having had turned on my non-premium radar.
Though, going by the same logic as above - that premium and non-premium radars behave the same, save for the fact that non-premium radars reset - your non-premium chain wouldn't break for a random/chain 1 shiny as, if I'm not mistaken, a premium radar doesn't count these shinies (at least, you don't get a notification for it). But, again, I have no actual proof for that, so don't quote me on it, please. :'v

	True though haha. :3 (That teal color mhhh yas! <33) What I do like a lot with Cherub actually are the cute wing-like markings it gives dragons around their eyes. They look almost like super fancy and just ever so extra lashes, and I just simply love that! XD But for a lot of breeds, the eyes are just so tiny you hardly ever really notice it. [Read more]

Could I get your opinion on a possible Bane breed-change and re-gene, please?

I'm not entirely sure yet whether or not I really wanna turn her into a Bane, but yeah. Anywaysss.

I'm currently torn between these two scrys:

I'm usually one who likes to go all matchy-matchy (not only colors but genes as well) which would mean going with Cherub (right) here since it's the corresponding gene to Seraph, but I'm actually really liking Ragged (left) too .. what do I dooo??? XD

Since I usually go for XXY dragons with only a few exceptions here and there, I'm probably not even gonna be bothering with my egg hatchlings, other than maybe adopting them out or something.

Sooo, I'm gonna be breed changing some dragons, and here's my first breeding pair:

I can't wait to start breeding them once they're all gened up hehe.

With this being said, I LOVE Banescales omg. I even like them more than Gaolers and I love the fluff butts a lot already haha. But Banes, ohhh boi, these guys are right up my alley. Mhh yasss.

	Happened to me too a couple of days ago. Someone I do not have added to my FL (and whom I had never added from what I can remember either) - but who has added me to their FL - liked one of my FL only feeds. After I saw that I tripple checked that the feed in question indeed was an FL only one and yep, it was. It's still up and I can provide proof or whatever if need be. [Read more]
