Ella. Nickname could be something, but Ella's already really short?

Appearance:

Ella's scales are a light yellow, nearly white, matching the dunes of her home. She has golden underscales that give her the appearance of glittering. She has the barbed tail of all Sandwings, and she has peculiar black diamond patterns all over her tail. Her eyes spark with energy, in a deep amber hue.

Personality:

Ella is confident, charismatic and loud. She can be intimidating but isn't that bad when you get to know her. She enjoys talking rather than listening, acting rather than waiting. She is dramatic, with a certain flair that only she can master. She loves to help others, and has dreamed of being out in the continent to see other tribes. She is a Sandwing princess, but certainly doesn't act like it.

"Come on, lovebird, we have to give you some pretty feathers before you go drool over Mr. Peacock."

Piper rolled her eyes but giggled. "You're getting better at your analogies," she complimented.

"Thanks but no time! We have to get you fancy," Ginger brushed her off, pulling her into a room at random. Sitting her young sister on the bed, she rubbed her hands together. "Okay. I'm thinking something pastel tonight, to accentuate your hair. We saw Oliver in lavender earlier, so best not to go with the same color. I'm thinking...orange. A pastel orange. We can do a sort of tropical look!" Ginger raced to the closet and pulled out a floaty, simple pastel orange dress, beginning with a tangerine at the top and moving in a gradient to a light pink.

The ankle-length dress flowed beautifully and flared when she twirled. Piper squealed happily as she turned in a circle, the dress sparkling like a chandelier. Ginger brought her strawberry blonde hair into a romantic tuck on the back of her head, leaving a few strands loose. Adorning her hair with small white flowers, slipping on golden ballet flats, and giving her a ring featuring an aquamarine flower, she completed the look.

"Wow!" Piper breathed excitedly. "I look awesome!"

Dewdrop glanced up for a split second and yelled, "EVERYONE, AWAY FROM HIM," then flicked his tail at the tornado, implying that they should move so they wouldn't get hit by the explosion. Firework and Winter peeled off and landed on the far side of the cavern. Sylvia hauled Serenity up the cliff and out of the way, and Dewdrop rocketed towards them. "SYLVIA, NOW!"

Sylvia narrowed her eyes and glared right at the dragon. Then she flared her wings, bared her teeth, and gave a thunderous roar. With a bright flash, the bolt dropped.

Personality: An explosion of energy, optimism and happiness! She is young, but has the confidence of an adult. She is faithful, a dreamer, and has unshakeable optimism, seeing the good in every situation. She is bold but not reckless. Why are you in the competition?: She's actually had a crush on Oliver for the longest time! And a little bit, she's in it to prove that she's not useless.
Appearance: She has strawberry blond, long, wavy hair, bordering on curls in the summer. She has a ton of freckles all across her nose and under her eyes, and she has rich brown/amber eyes. She stands at 5'1", being fairly short. She has a normal body build for her age, but still hasn't quite developed in the chest area.

Personality: Sweet and spicy. She is an outgoing girl just like her sister, but less optimistic and more temperamental. She and her sister share the same trust and faith, but unlike Piper, she can be a bit more pessimistic and narrow-minded. However, being more grounded, they compliment each other well and don't usually fight. She is very protective of Piper but lets her make her own decisions.
Appearance: She has red-brown hair, hence her name, Ginger. She has freckles like Piper, but fewer, and her eyes are hazel. She stands at 5'8", and her hair falls to her waist in natural curls. She can often be seen wearing a plaid flannel shirt and jeans.
Why are you in the competition?: She's here to help out Piper, who has liked Oliver for years. She wants to protect her sister from other competitors and help Piper to win Oliver's hand, and she wants to do it as fairly as possible - not that she's worried Piper would cheat, but she wants to make sure that Piper isn't sabotaged in any way.

	Firework flew off of the offensive to help Ony, biting at the vines around her paw. Winter twisted under the dragon's tail and shot a blast of frost breath onto the vulnerable underscores of its belly. Dewdrop roared in agony, slashing at every part of the dragon that he could. [Read more]
