~Adelynn, Xander, Elise, Peri, Siegbert, Flynn, and Ophelia~ "He healed a man...?" Adelynn furrowed her brows together. She seemed to be understanding a little bit, but not much. She squeezed Xander's hand, in fear of her life. What if Flynn wasn't the healer he was made out to be? What if he failed in healing Adelynn? All of these terrible thoughts were flooding Adelynn's mind, but all she had to do was squeeze her husband's hand and they all melted away. "Thank you for the towel, Elise. It's much appreciated~" she pulled herself together and tried to act like the Queen she was supposed to be. She knew she was sick, but even if she was, she'd have to try her best to act like the royalty she was. She glanced at Peri, "Peri.. If you don't mind going into detail?" ~Noe, Jakob, and Dwyer~ "It's not a problem, Father. Anything for the ones that I love." Dwyer grinned genuinely, as he patted his mother's head gently. "I love you, Mother." he smiled happily, and Noe exchanged the expression as well, "I love you, too, Dwyer." she murmured, as she pressed her lips against the brim of the cup, taking a small sip. The flavor of the tea was quite pleasant, it was one of her favorite brews of tea; mint. Mint tea was always one of her favorites, and she enjoyed drinking it frequently, if not on a daily basis. "I love you Jakob." Noe cooed, setting her cup down on the table and placing her lips against Jakob's gently. ~Maggy and Silas~ "I agree! Breakfast is certainly in order! What do you want to make, sweetheart? You get to choose~" Silas chimed, as he joined Maggy in the kitchen, snaking his arms around her waist and burying his head in the crook of her neck. He wanted to embrace her for a couple of minutes, just to let her know he'd always be there for her. "I love you so much, Maggy. If you ever left me, I'd be so devastated." he whispered, before pressing his lips against her cheek. "I can't believe I married my best friend. It's still hard to believe... I've always loved you though, and that will never change." Silas hummed. ~Hinoka and Kaden~ Kaden gasped as he felt Hinoka's lips press against his. He eventually melted into the kiss, wrapping his arms around her neck, pulling her closer to his body. He seemed to be enjoying the moment quite a lot, and hoped it would never end. He gently pushed her against the wall, kissing her with even more passion than he was before. "I love you a lot, Hinoka..." he mumbled against her lips, and he felt pretty damn good that Hinoka felt the same way. Sooner or later, Kaden and Hinoka's lips had to part ways, due to the necessity of breathing. "That was amazing, Hinoka." Kaden breathed, smiling brightly at her. He winked at her in a cheeky manner, before embracing her in his arms. "I can't believe you feel the same exact way... That's such a relief. I thought you were going to reject me." Kaden sighed. ~Selena, Laslow, and Soleil~ "Thank you Soleil, I'm known to be quite the cook~" Laslow teased, to which Selena groaned. Soleil giggled at her father's clever little comment. "I love you guys so much. I'm truly blessed to have both of you in my life." Laslow smiled, as he pulled his daughter and his wife into his arms, hugging the both of them tightly. this is gettin d e e p my guy. xander x adelynn for life oh my HECK ~Adelynn, Xander, Elise, and Ophelia~ AND FLYNN??? (he makes an appearance~) Adelynn panted heavily, but immediately stopped when Xander came to her rescue. She pressed her cheek against his hand, as more tears strolled down her cheeks. It was a terrible nightmare, simply petrifying. She couldn't even begin to go into detail about how horrid it was. She was at a complete and total loss for words, "X-Xander... It was horrible." more tears trailed down her face, but Xander was there to wipe them away the second they started to fall down her cheeks. She allowed herself to calm down, knowing that her wonderful husband Xander was right next to her. "Xandy..." she whispered, closing her eyes and sighing slightly. "I can't even begin to imagine what would have happened if I had lost you... or if I had died. Or if I had let the whole entire kingdom of Nohr down. I'd never be able to forgive myself." she shook her head, unable to control the flashbacks from her nightmare. "I don't ever want to leave you..." Adelynn wept, and she was interrupted by her son, Siegbert. "Mother! Someone is here to visit you!" and Adelynn looked at her son, then at Xander. No one even dared to visit the Queen of Nohr when she was in such an ill state. Who ever could it be? "Bring them in." Adelynn croaked, wiping her tears away, holding them in until the visitor left. "Mother, this is Flynn. Flynn, this is my mother, Adelynn, or famously known as the Queen of Nohr." and Flynn smiled once he saw Adelynn's face. "Hello! I'm Flynn, from another kingdom that isn't Nohr or Hoshido, but that doesn't matter. I'm here to help you!" Flynn smirked cockily, and Adelynn rolled her eyes. "I may be very ill, but I'm not stupid. No one has been able to help me get better." she shook her head sadly, knowing it was the truth. "Lady Adelynn, I'm known for healing many of my people. Please let me try to help you." Flynn pleaded, and Adelynn sighed. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to let you try... I'm kind of busy at the moment, so could you please let me and my husband be? It'd be greatly appreciated." Adelynn nodded, and Flynn instantly took notice. "King Xander! What a pleasure to meet you!" Flynn stood up straight, trying to leave a good impression on the King. "Please leave me and my husband be, if you don't mind." and Flynn bowed, before turning on his heel and leaving the room. "He seems sketchy, Mother." Siegbert stated, and Adelynn nodded in agreement. "I concur. He doesn't seem to be the healing type. He looks pretty devious to me." "Well, I'll leave you and Father alone now." Siegbert smiled sweetly, as he shut the chamber door, allowing Xander and Adelynn to be alone. "Xander... I don't think I'll ever get better." Adelynn slouched, burying her head in her hands, only to cry again. ~Noe, Jakob, and Dwyer~ Noe winced as she felt the cool ointment cover her burn wound. She looked up at the ceiling, trying her best not to look at the injury. It was already starting to form, and it looked absolutely horrid. Noe was known to be extremely clumsy, but not this clumsy. Noe held Jakob's hand in her's, before leaning forward to place a gentle kiss against his lips. "Thank you for always taking care of me, Jakob. I don't know what I'd do without you." she smiled genuinely, as Dwyer approached the two slowly. "Mother, Father, the tea is ready, if you'd like some." Dwyer nodded his head, and Noe lit up. "I'd love some tea! Do you mind pouring me a cup?" and Dwyer smiled, "Of course, Mother." "Jakob, would you like some?" Noe looked at him, with a happy expression painted on her face. ~Maggy, Silas, and Sophie~ "Uh... training?" Sophie quirked a brow, as a sweatdrop trailed down her temple. "Of course I have!" she laughed it off, obviously lying to her mother. Silas immediately noticed this, "Now now Sophie. Tell her the truth." he scolded her, and Sophie sighed, "I haven't been doing my training. I've been so focused on getting Abel to obey me, that I completely forgot about it..." she murmured under her breath, clearly disappointed that she hadn't been catching up on her training to become a knight. "I'm really sorry, Mama. I hope you can forgive me..." she looked up at her mother with sad eyes. "Oh Sophie. It's okay." Silas soothed her, pressing his hand against her cheek, a small smile tugging on his lips. "Now you just have to train harder, right?" and Sophie nodded, "Well... I guess you're right! I have to start training immediately!!" and before anyone could say anything else, Sophie was out the door. "Now what do we do?" Silas chuckled, before tucking a strand of Maggy's hair behind her ear, "You look so beautiful..." he murmured. ~Hinoka and Kaden~ "Well, Hinoka... I've been wanting to tell you this for a while, but. I like you. Like, more than a friend. I've been trying to hide it from you because I was afraid you'd never like me back in that aspect, but it's gotten to the point where I just don't care anymore! I had to tell you, and I had to tell you now. I hope this doesn't change the way you think of me at all. I really hope we can still be friends..." Kaden explained, tears pricking at his eyes. He said he didn't care, but he really did. He was afraid of being rejected by Queen Hinoka, but he knew her as just Hinoka. Ever since she became Queen, he found it harder to confess his true feelings to her. He noticed Hinoka was silent, which made him think he really did do something wrong. "H-Hinoka?" he squeaked silently, more tears pricking at his eyes. He really prayed he didn't offend her. He didn't want to hurt the one he loved the most... ~Selena and Laslow~ "What would you like for breakfast, my love? Do you know if Soleil is awake yet?" he hummed, as he began to prepare the basics for a wonderful breakfast. "I think I want some sausage and eggs... But you can choose whatever you'd like, my dear." Laslow smiled warmly, tucking a strand of Selena's red hair behind her ear, giggling at the expression on her face. "You look so angry, lighten up poppet~" Laslow patted her head gently, before he continued to prepare stuff for breakfast. "Could you wake up Soleil for me, please? ~Adelynn, Xander, Elise, and Ophelia (Odin shall join soon xD)~ Ophelia waved frantically at Xander, before tackling him happily. "Xandy! Xandy!" she squealed, hugging him to her chest. Ophelia was quite the strong teenage girl, and it always left Xander speechless. With her tight constricting hugs, he was always out of breath whenever she released her grip on him. "How's Adelynn, Xander?" Ophelia dusted her childish act off, putting on a more serious and concerned expression. She hoped Adelynn was doing better, she didn't want to hear any bad news. Ophelia glanced at her mother, Elise, who looked pretty hopeful of hearing good news, the two of them awaited for Xander's response. Adelynn dreamt of not so nice things, that day. She had dreamt of dying, and leaving the whole kingdom of Nohr in shambles. She feared death, she didn't want to leave her loving husband so soon. She didn't want to leave the kingdom of Nohr, along with the citizens in complete disbelief. She wanted to be there for them until her very last breath. She would fight for Nohr, until she finally gave out. But she wasn't dying any time soon, she refused to let it happen. The dream soon turned into a nightmare, within the snap of a finger, and it was getting to be too much for poor Adelynn to handle. She didn't want to come off as weak, so she tried to stay asleep as best as she could. But... eventually the nightmare got worse, too worse, and she shot up out of bed with a scream. "XANDER!!!" she had yelled, before looking out the window. It was almost sunset, she had only been asleep for a couple of hours... She was panting, the fear was too much for her to handle. Suddenly, tears started streaming down her face, too scared to even put it into words. "I don't wanna die... I don't wanna die." she repeated, more tears trailing down her cheeks. ~Noe and Jakob... AND DWYER!!! : D~ Noe rolled her eyes at Jakob, "Oh please. If you had any fatherly sense, you would know Dwyer doesn't do good under pressure. Why do you always have to nitpick, nag, and degrade him? He's still a teenager, you can't press so harshly on him." she growled, obviously very overprotective of her son Dwyer. And when she heard Jakob make the tea remark, she hissed, "I'm not going to scald myself! Now, I know I'm your Master, and you're my butler, but you don't have to watch my every movement, my every action. I know you're trying to look out, because-- you're both my husband and my butler... but try not to be so... protective of me. I'm perfectly fine of brewing this tea on m--- OUCH!!!" she shrieked, as the scalding hot water boiled against her pale skin. She winced, tears pricking at her eyes. Immediately, someone had rushed into their living quarters; it was Dwyer. "Mother! A-Are you alright...?" he ran to her side, instantly fetching a cold towel and placing it against the burned area. Jakob was shocked to see this, to say the least, and was certainly impressed by how quick Dwyer was to make a move. "Mother, do you need anything? Any bandages, ointment, medicine? I can finish brewing the tea for you." when Jakob heard this, he was enthralled. Dwyer offering to finish the tea? But wasn't that normally Jakob's job? Jakob was jealous hearing this as well, he usually always made tea for his wife, and didn't want his son doing it for her. ~Maggy and Silas~ Silas smirked at her, pressing his cold hand against her cheek, leaning in to kiss her softly. He hummed against her lips, cupping both of his hands on her cheeks. He mumbled an 'I love you' on her lips, before pulling away. The blush that dusted his cheeks was uncontrollable. He giggled, before resting his head against Maggy's shoulder. "I don't know. What do you want to do? It's up to you, sweetheart. Do you want to go to the shops and get some stuff? I was planning on getting you another ring." he smiled warmly, as he eyed the neatly organized rack of rings that he had ever bought for her. The last thing she needed was more rings, Maggy had a ton of them already! "Or if you don't want a ring, I could always buy you a pretty necklace." he suggested, and with that, he wrapped his arms around Maggy's waist to pull her into a loving embrace. "You are my everything, Maggy. I don't know what I'd do without you." and suddenly, their daughter Sophie entered the room, with a big smile on her face. "Papa! Mama! You'll never guess what happened!" she beamed brightly, and Silas chuckled, "What happened, Soph?" and Sophie squealed, "Avel finally listened to me!! I can't believe it!" and Silas cheered, "Hey, honey! That's awesome! Isn't that awesome Maggy?" ~Hinoka and Kaden~ Kaden's tail wagged in excitement, "I'd love to have some tea, Hinoka! You know you can always call me Kade, you don't have to call me Kaden. You don't have to act all.. Queen-y around me, y'know?" his eyes lit up as he eyed Hinoka up and down. She looked magnificent. Simply beautiful. He loved the color of her robes, and loved how stunning she looked. She had a positive attitude about everything and always greeted bad times with a smile. There are many other reasons why Kaden adored her, but he just couldn't seem to put them into words. "So... uh. How's the Queen life treatin' ya'?" he tried to spark up a conversation, but he was just too nervous. He promised himself that he'd confess his feelings to Hinoka today, so he wasn't his normal self. He was often chipper and bubbly, but today, he was anxious. "I-I uh... I'd like to talk to you in private, if that's okay. We can have the tea later... C'mon! Let's go!" Kaden immediately yanked Hinoka's arm out of instinct and dragged her to a quiet place where no one else was. When he found a quiet spot, he cleared his throat. "I've been meaning to tell you something, Hinoka.." he mumbled, a blush dusting his cheeks. ~Selena and Laslow~ Laslow awoke with a start, after hearing his wife Selena stumbling across their quarters to find the light. Laslow crawled out of bed and grabbed a match, lighting the candle that sat in the sconce. He opened the blinds to the windows, allowing light to surround the room. "Good morning love. How did you sleep?" he smiled, walking over to her to press a kiss against her temple. "Do you want me to make us breakfast?" he hummed, snaking his arms around her waist and pulling her close to his body. "You know... I'm just going to make us breakfast anyways. ~Adelynn and Xander~ Adelynn frowned, placing her cold hand on his cheek, looking at him with her deep blue pools of color. “I love you...” she mumbled, as she was slowly starting to drift off into another deep sleep. She whispered one last thing to him, something he had always told her, ”Xander.. In the moment of my death, if the last thing I saw was you... I’d be... content.” she had peacefully slipped into another serene slumber, never letting go of her husband’s hand even if she was asleep. She squeezed it gently before she had completely fell asleep, reassuring him that she would be okay. ~Maggy and Silas~ “Good morning sunshine.” Silas mumbled sleepily, rubbing his eyes slightly. He noticed his lovely wife was silently reading, trying her best not to wake him up. He appreciated the kind gesture, and decided to return the favor by placing a kiss on his lover’s cheek. “I love you! What do you want to do today? Just relax at home? Maybe you want to visit Sakura?” Silas suggested a couple things for them to do. He realized he left a glass of water sitting on his nightstand, and he decided to grab the cup, pressing his lips against the rim and taking a sip of water. “You look really beautiful, Maggy.” he smiled, setting the cup back on the nightstand and resting his head against her shoulder. ~Noe and Jakob~ “Oh for the love of Sumeragi, Jakob. Don’t be so arrogant. He’s your son.” Noe grumbled, standing up and joining Jakob. She placed the scrapbook back in the bookshelf where it belonged and decided to make a kettle of tea. She didn’t need Jakob to assist her in making tea this time, even though he was so much better at brewing it than she was. She was quite irritated with Jakob at the moment, he always seemed to be degrading their son, Dwyer. She adored Dwyer, he was a good kid. Noe opened her mouth, “Maybe Dwyer would be a better butler if you didn’t knock him down all the time. Always nitpicking at the way he does certain things. Nothing is ever good enough for you, hm?” she nagged, hoping Jakob would understand what she was trying to say. ~Hinoka and Kaden~ Kaden decided to visit the beautiful Queen of Hoshido, Hinoka. He had had feelings for her for quite some time now, but he was always too timid to bring it up. Even though he was known for being so bold. He strolled down the royal corridors, glancing at the beautiful artwork that covered the walls. One was a picture of Ryoma, oh how Hoshido missed him so. Then there was a picture of Hinoka, and Kaden bit his lip. How could someone look so elegant and serious simultaneously? He adored Hinoka for a many of things, some of them he couldn’t even explain.  In the moment of my death, if the last thing I saw was you... I'd be... content. There are two kingdoms, Hoshido and Nohr. They are happily at peace together after the war and the collapse of the corrupted ruler, King Garon. In Nohr, King Xander and Queen Adelynn happily rule together and try to keep the peace as best as possible. In Hoshido, after the passing of two heirs to the throne, Queen Hinoka rules. She has yet to find a King to suit her needs, therefore, she rules alone. Nohr and Hoshido are excellent allies, and help one another when one is in need. However, one day, Queen Adelynn falls into a terrible illness, leaving the whole kingdom of Nohr in total shock. Will the Hoshidians be able to find a cure to help Adelynn become healthy? Or will it be too late? Hoshido is also in shambles, quite like Nohr, due to a severe injury inflicted on their youngest heir, Sakura. Hoshido, trying to juggle finding a cure for Adelynn and to care for their youngest heir, Sakura, will they ever be able to have a break? Will Nohr be able to carry on without their beloved Queen, if she ever were to pass? Suddenly, however, in the heat of the moment, a new face appears in the kingdom of Nohr. A bold and courageous man, named Flynn. He's known for a many of things, such as medicinal concoctions known to save a plethora of citizens, known for slaying dragons and monsters, he's also known for his moment of infamy, where he was supposedly responsible for Takumi of Hoshido's death. Flynn, being extremely cocky and known to think of things right off a whim, might be able to save both kingdoms. Unfortunately, Hoshido does not trust this man, for he was rumored to be held accountable for Takumi's death. Nohr, on the other hand, may let him in and trust him, since they are desperately in need. Will Flynn be able to save Adelynn? Will Hoshido open up to this so called jack-of-all-trades? Or will Hoshido and Nohr be able to do this on their own, without Mr. Flynn? In this very roleplay, there will be several conflicts and violent themes. However, life in Hoshido and Nohr has not changed that much, and the citizens still continue to carry on with their daily lives, as if nothing was going on. There will be confrontation amongst characters, and normal conversations will occur. Even though, it may be their last day with Queen Adelynn, or their last day with Sakura, the citizens still carry out their usual routines. She was starting to get extremely irritable, the fever was getting to be too much for her. She was shivering cold underneath all of the blankets that were piled on top of her. She was sick with something terrible, but the Nohrians couldn't determine what illness to diagnose her with. She had the chills like you wouldn't believe, and she was always running uncontrollable fevers, and was throwing up every now and then. You would think it was the common stomach virus, but it wasn't that. After a series of tests, they couldn't figure out what she had fallen ill with. However, her wonderful husband, Xander, was sitting right next to her bedside, running his fingers through her hair and telling her stories to entertain her. Of course, her beautiful son, Siegbert, was keeping her company as well, but it was mostly Xander, he refused to leave Adelynn's side. "X-Xander... I'm cold." she murmured through gritted teeth, trying her best to warm up. The Nohrian nurses and doctors refused to let Xander lay next to her, in fear of him falling ill as well. As much as Xander would have liked to, he couldn't. "Xander... please just come lay next to me..." Adelynn pleaded, with her big beady blue eyes staring him down ever so innocently. He wanted to lay next to her, to tell her everything would be okay. But he just was afraid of disobeying the doctor's. We couldn't have the King of Nohr sick as well, it would be horrid! Two of the royals with an unknown sickness. Now think about that. "Xandy.." she whispered, holding her hand out to him, her face the palest it had ever been. Noe was residing in Hoshido with her ever so magnificent husband, Jakob. They were in their living quarters, sitting on the bed together. Noe was resting her head on his shoulder, nuzzling the butler happily. "I'm so glad to spend the rest of today with you. After all, we've been running rampant all day trying to help Sakura get better..." Noe sighed, snaking her arms around his waist. Jakob chuckled, kissing her temple, pulling her closer to his body. "Gosh. What did I ever do to deserve such a man like you?" Noe giggled, tucking a few of his silver locks behind his ear, kissing his nose gently. "Today is such a breathtaking day... I wonder what Dwyer's doing at the moment." and Jakob scoffed at the mention of his lazy son. "Oh c'mon. Dwyer isn't that bad. He's just a little bit lazy. He gets it from his mother, which would be me." Noe replied, before she got up to grab a book. It was a tiny scrapbook that Dwyer had made when he was much younger. It contained pictures of Noe and Jakob and him, all happy together. "See, you loved Dwyer. The only reason you don't like him now is because Kana is in the picture... Dwyer is still a great boy. He's just a bit lazy and procrastinates like me. But you love me! So I don't know why you don't like Dwyer." Noe sighed heavily. Jakob tried to think of a witty response, but he couldn't come up with anything. Noe had won the argument, until... Jakob opened his mouth to reply. It was a sunny afternoon in Hoshido, where Anastasia was laying in her bed next to her amazing husband, Tsubaki. She heard his stomach growl, and she shook him gently. "Tsubaki, honey. Wake up. You need to eat something." she giggled, blowing a couple of red bangs out of his face. Tsubaki shook his head, refusing to get up. "I know you don't like letting people know when you're hungry, but you have to eat something. Don't be so embarrassed to eat in front of people..." Anastasia urged him, but he still wasn't having it. Ana groaned loudly, before ripping the sheets off of him, and yanking him out of bed. "You're going to EAT, Mister. And you're going to like it, too!" the shrieking of Tsubaki echoed throughout their living quarters as Anastasia forced him into eating lunch. After she had gotten him to eat, she smiled.
