As long as it's nothing too over the top, and it's fees that are affordable for majority of players, then it should be good. It's also a good thing to note that it of course wouldn't be a primary use storage although some people may want to treat it like one which wouldn't be a bad thing. They would just be paying more to make more use of it since the fees are going to add up. But, it's going to be a lot of eggs you'll be able to pocket before all those fees would add up to what would be likely be the price of your next Egg Storage. Although, that would likely take quite a long while for most users making use of Temporary Egg Storage as they may just be using this for emergency (such as that Daycare scenario) or if they do an oopsie and actually find that they need it. Edit: Also, with this being something people can choose to make use of or not will be another good thing. I know there's people who would want this feature turned off because if there were eggs automatically being sent into into this storage whenever your Party was full and deducting money you may actually need for other things, then it wouldn't really be a good thing. It will basically let you control what eggs you want in and wouldn't want in somewhat of a way. Well that's unless a prompt gets added when an egg is going to be sent into the storage asking you if you want it or not when you're using this feature, which at that point you would have full control. But, this will still help those who do get flooded with eggs in Daycare and still want to claim them when they already have their Normal Egg Storage full, so when their party is full of eggs, then you can just start claiming eggs from Daycare and paying a fee per egg to secure them and at least have them go somewhere. Just one of the scenarios where something like this would really help people out and I think people would love to opt for given they could. [Read more] |

What is Temporary Egg Storage?Temporary Egg Storage will basically act as temporary storage for your eggs to go to when certain conditions are met. Temporary Egg Storage will not function the same as Normal Egg Storage (what we currently have). How will it work/function?By normal means, your Temporary Egg Storage will be hidden and you will not be able to access it. To access it, there must first be at least 1 egg inside of it. If there are no eggs in it, then you won't be able to see it. For an Egg to be placed in Temporary Egg Storage the following conditions must be met: • You must be Trainerlevel 10 and also have an available Temporary Egg Storage slot available (as this is where Temporary Egg Storage would get unlocked) • Temporary Egg Storage must be enabled (there will be an option for enabling and disabling this feature) • You must have enough PD (as this will not be free and will cost a fee) • You Party must be full So, I was thinking Trainerlevel 10 to unlock Temporary Egg Storage, and that's where you get your first slot, and then every 10 Trainerlevels after you get an additional slot. So, with my Trainerlevel currently I would have access to 9 Temporary Egg Storage slots. So, basically whenever you get an egg as a reward or claim it from anywhere while all these requirements are met, then that egg will automatically be sent over to Temporary Egg Storage, and whatever the fee is in PD will be deducted from your account. If you don't have enough PD while this feature is active, then the egg won't be sent over to Temporary Egg Storage and the egg will not be claimed. So, when there's at least 1 egg in Temporary Egg Storage, then you will be able to access it from your Storage Boxes, but can only do the following: • You can take eggs out and place them into your Party or Normal Egg Storage (given you have space) • You CANNOT move and place eggs into the Temporary Egg Storage from either your Party or Normal Egg Storage, it will be a 1-way storage. Points of why this should be implemented1. Egg Storages are really expensive and can be really tough to afford, and not everyone has PD for them and or to just sink straight into them. I think majority of people can agree with this. 2. This would serve as a great medium between having having some sort of "protection" and being say a time saver. I know there's people who say open Christmas Gifts while their party if full and get an empty Christmas Gift because their party is full (seeing people message me about this actually motivated me to make this suggestion so thanks again). They do things that rewards you eggs on a full party and it wastes their time because they forget, so with this at least they'll be able to still claim the egg for a fee. 3. It's not something that will be free, because if it weren't free, then it would basically be free Egg Storage which obviously isn't a good thing. I don't have any numbers of what the fee would be, but I guess it can be discussed. 4. It actually gives more of a purpose for people who have higher Trainerlevels and have grinded to work their levels up. It makes people feel like they've really earned something more. 5. It wouldn't be OP (overpowered) as you would have worked on your Trainerlevel to get slots for this storage and you're still paying something to use it on top of it all. 6. It effectively makes for more affordable Egg Storage for users to have that they currently don't have, but again you'd have to meet requirements to make use of it. Also, maybe have a warning message to really make sure that you want an egg to go into Temporary Egg Storage when all the conditions are met and it activates?
