Title: My Top 10 Best RP Performances

About 10 months ago, I posted "My Top 5 Favorite Roleplay Preformances" but since then, I've done a few more RP's so I thought I would update that list and add some new and old ones. Note this list will be alot different from my last one because my opinions on some performances may have changed as times gone on. So without further ado, here are my Top 10 Best RP Performances.

Welp, I'm bored and I have nothing else to do so..... time to stroke my ego I guess. Today I'll be counting down my top 5 favorite roleplay performances by.... well, me. I'll be ranking them based on how they were received by my fellow roleplayers and my own personal opinions so... let's start

#10. Talla, The Greatest Show:
This entry is a returning entry from the last list, however in the last list it was my #5 entry, whereas here, it is my #10 solely because my memorys of it arent as fond as my next few entries. None the less, while this wasnt my most memorable roleplay outing, it started my recent roleplaying renaissance. When reading the plot, the first thing that went through my head was, "Ok, how can I make this version of Talla unique." as and then it hit me. I'll have her be an abusive and egotistical older sibling to my protagonist. And the results were very good, so much so that one person who read it said, and I quote "Holy crap that was intense". So ya, this RP performance broke the roleplaying curse that I was stuck in at the time and every performance since has only overshadowed it, hence its #10 placing

#9. Reyna, Our Last Dance:
This character is... very interesting for me. First off, I created the character of Reyna a few months beforehand intending for her to be a one off character in a roleplay I made called "The Longest Trail". However, that roleplay died out so I decided to sideline the character for the time being, using her in only a few roleplays that died out when. However, when I saw the plot for "Our Last Dance", I knew right away that I wanted to use Reyna. In the roleplay, she was a calm and intimidating character who was a prime suspect in the roleplays plot, due to her rather intimidating attitude and her mysterious appearance at the night of the roleplays beginning. But during an interrogation, her calm exterior diminished to reveal a scared and desperate person who had just lost her mother figure. And although she was killed off not long afterwards, her role still goes on in the roleplay as a key figure in its complex plot and her memory lives on as the performance that saved the character from being shelved entirely.

#8. Lucy, After Presentable Liberty (or APL) and APL: Part II
Lucy is another interesting character for me as, throughout the middle of After Presentable Liberty, I put her character off to the side to focus on the development of Maddy, so she was kinda on the back burners throughout that roleplay. But what made her really shine was her character in APL: Part II. Due to events at the end of APL: Part II's predecessor, Lucy becomes hell bent on revenge for the loved one she lost, while simultaneously grieving for her loved ones and trying to protect the others she loves from harm as well. It's a difficult tightrope to walk on, but so far I believe I've nailed it.

#7. Benton, The Awakening
This character was probably my most challenging character to play. Mainly because at the time of playing him, I was dealing with a crap ton of personal issues ~~some of which were brought on because of this performance~~. Yet, I feel as though this character should be here soully because he was unique from my other performances of Benton as, while he was still devilishly smart, he was meant to be hated, gettingwhst he deserved at the end of the RPas well. Although he was meant to be a side villain to the main villain, he held his own amongst the ensemble cast of characters in The Awakening, so much so it won the PH Oscar (Best Supporting Villain) ~~but I declined for personal reasons~~.

#6. Maddy, The Beasts Trilogy
As of writing this on March 31st, 2021, Rise of a Warrior has yet to have debuted so I wont be including that in this list until later on. However, Maddy in her own right in this roleplay, is amazing. She's fierce and willing to stand up for others and isn't afraid of doing the right thing. And although she has yet to break the mold, I gleefully await when she does

#5. Doctor Benton, After Presentable Liberty (or APL) and APL: Part II / A New Life
I decided to make this entry a dual entry because in APL and A New Life, they are basically the same character despite APL's Benton being somewhat more developed than A New Lifes Benton. This character shattered the mold for villains I used back when he first debuted. His calm and calculating nature lead him to be a threat even when he wasn't around. And in APL: Part II, he stole the show with his devilish gaze and evil mannerisms. And although he will be retired once APL: Part II ends, he sure did leave a lasting legacy on my roleplaying resume and career.

#4. Tallahassee, Abnormal Apocolypse
I know! Shocking that my #2 performance from last time is #4 this time! However there is a reason for that.... I hate looking back at the cringyness of my old roleplaying self, XD. Nevertheless, this is the performance that has defined my career since Day 1 so it'll always hold a special place in my heart

#3. Dylan, Pokemon/Hogwarts Crossover
Earlier I said Benton broke the mold for my villains, but this character created a new one. This devilishly complex character was almost not created, but the previous villain of the roleplay (played by me) wasnt cutting it so I ditched him in favor of Dylan which was 100% the right choice. A tortured soul trapped between his family and the life he was stuck with that he desperately tried to rid himself of until it was too late, this character balanced the thin line between likeable and bad while as the roleplay progressed, he began to grow to cope with what he has done and tries to make up for it in any way possible. It truly was a master class of a performance that showed everything I was capable of.

#2. Maddy, After Presentable Liberty (or APL) and APL: Part II
This was and still is my greatest performance as a hero. As Maddy, I played a hero who tries to save the ones she loves while an unknown disease begins to rip her apart from the inside out. She was funny, she was heroic, and she was tragic, all traits that won her the PH Oscar for Best Supporting Roleplayer. And in the sequel, despite her brief appearances, she commands every scene she's in and brings back so many memories that I love.

Before I get to my #1 pick, some honorable mentions:
Tani, The Beasts Trilogy
Maya, Pokemon/Hogwarts Crossover
Talla, The Kingdoms Three

#1. Talla, The Beasts Trilogy
In this PH Oscar winning role, I played the bloodthirsty warlord known as Talla. Her ruthless methods and incredible fighting skills made her widely known throughout the world the roleplay takes place in, much like how her portrayal shocked the cast of Haven of Beasts and all who read HoB. And in The Awakening, despite her brief appearances, she stole the show and struck fear into the characters and their roleplayers (specifically RaRaRasputin, XD). It showed everything I could give and to date is my most amazing performance.

*Benton began to walk out of the training room and the MT followed until they reached his lab, where Lucky saw feathers and blood covering one of the tables. She began to struggle as the MT placed her into a crib like tube. As it let go of her, she struggled even more, causing it to sock her in the face and pin her arms down into clamps. She looked at the clamps and attempted to break out of them but couldn't. Then Benton pushed her head back and put a final clamp around her head, before stroking her face* Whether or not you like it, Agent 8, I'll get what I need from you. And once this is all over, I'll do the same to your sisters. *Lucky began to curse at Benton but he put a gag in her mouth and closed the crib before walking away and turning on the machine, which began to suck the ink out of her*

*Benton slowly backed away from the door as Lucky took aim at him. But then, something grabbed her and threw her across the room, into the wall, dropping her gun to the ground. She then looked up and saw a towering figure, over 6 feet tall, walking over to her. Every step it took let out a big, almost artificial thud. Its joints made a distinct robotic sound. As it grabbed her, she looked into the MT's eyes and saw the gears turning in its head and throughout its entire body. It looked towards Benton and began to carry her towards him*

*Lucy ran down the tunnels and saw Faith's wound had worsened and slightly gagged. She began to panic as she thought to herself what to do. She knew Benton was close. She couldn't turn back now. She then turned to Salvadore and lightly tossed a first aid kit towards him* There should be some things to help ease the pain. I'll go ahead and try to find the way out. You stay with the others and patch her up.

*Benton didn't waver from where he stood, but instead continued looking at Agent 8 with his devilish gaze. Like many times before, Agent 8 angrily turned around and waited for the people Benton wanted her to kill. But then a man rushed into the room and stupidly began to speak to Benton* Sir, our scouts have reported of a group moving towards the city, with the girl.snd the other octolings in tow! *Benton's eyes widened and he looked towards the man, who realized his mistake. But upon his attempt to run, he was shot by Agent 8, who looked right at Benton*
