This one was a little harder... but hearing and hearing again sounded like an echo, a little. The "dying until called again" fitted it as well... Unfortunately, this was the hardest one for him to scratch out. His claws kept jerking across the dirt, until he was left with an unreadable patch of earth. After pacing out of frustration, an idea came to him. Kieran barked, then again, quieter, and again and again, till the bark was silent, hoping that the humans would figure it out.

Kieran was thankful he'd picked up a riddle book after moving into town. He loved reading, and trying to slowly comprehend books like that had really helped him go from illiterate to a speed reader. Riddles with "beginning" and "end" often had to do with grammar or the spelling of words. Hmm... what did all of the words have in common? The letter "S"! After doing a quick check in his mind, he was pretty confident it was the correct answer. This one was easier to show, he traced out a letter "S" on the ground, while hissing like a snake.

	Kieran had heard of this one before. "A tombstone!" he barked. No reply. He sighed. It probably needed to be in english.... Thinking quickly, he did his best to scratch out the word on the ground. It took a few minutes and it was hard to read... but maybe Melody or another human would get it? They'd probably question why a raccoon dog could spell too, but that wasn't important. [Read more]

	Kieran sighed. The selfish side of him despised being in this predicament. Why did he have to do this? He didn't sign up for it!
