Full support!

I was looking to suggest this, but then I found this old suggestion thread for it.

I think that this would be great especially with the recent addition of the Item Market. There's also already a Ho-Oh Egg Voucher, but not as an actual item that you can obtain.

There's not Shiny Ho-Oh Egg Voucher, but I'm sure one can get made.

But yeah, I think doing away with the pass code system and having tradeable vouchers would be a lot better. It's not just because of the Item Market and better having them more easily in circulation. But, it helps prevents scams and things of that nature.

Riako would need to add a code for shadow, or well at least the BBCode specifically for it.

You only can show Normal and Shiny Pokemon with these 2 BBCodes (the pkmnbig ones):

[pkmnbig]1[/pkmnbig]

[pkmnbig=s]2[/pkmnbig]

So you'd need one that's like "pkmnbig=sh" for shadows specifically that will make the first number in the ID number in the image url to a static 2. This isn't actually a thing, but that's an idea for Riako if he reads this.

Meaning this in HTML:
"<img src="//staticpokeheroes.com/img/pokemon/bw_front/X(ID input from user here).png">"

The bold X that's in that url there will be a 2 instead of a 0 (Normal) or a 1 (Shiny).

Anyways, you can still display shadows currently without a code specifically for it and by using the url for them using the image BBCode.

For example:
[img]//staticpokeheroes.com/img/pokemon/bw_front/21.png[/img]

The code is really no different with achieving the same end result. It's just that the pkmnbig BBCode is aiming to be more user friendly with the user just needing to give an ID of a Pokemon instead of a whole link of a Pokemon's image.

But yeah, just use the same logic for any other shadow Pokemon that you want to display. Shadow Bulbasaur is 21.png as you can see in the above example, so say if you want a Shadow Pikachu, then you do 225.png for example. Just remember to keep the 2 in front following the Pokemon's ID after and you should be fine.

1st OS or any number OS isn't just determined by ID, but also by being hatched first. For example, I have some 1st OS Event Distribution mons that have a higher ID number, but were hatched first which makes them 1st OS.

No support.

QuoteSince about a year, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox no longer support audio on autoplay on desktop, tablets, and mobile.

To autoplay video or music, your site visitors need to change the settings in their own browsers.

Chrome's autoplay policies are as following:

• Muted autoplay is always allowed.
• Autoplay with sound is allowed if:
- User has interacted with the domain (click, tap, etc.).
- On desktop, the user has previously played video with sound.
- On mobile, the user has added the site to their home screen.

Safari's and Firefox's policies are similar.

Basically, you can't have autoplaying music on by default which is already in my opinion a huge waste of time to be putting development hours into going and implementing this. Especially since majority of users are using Google Chrome for their browser. There are sites that can autoplay audio/video by default that are very popular like Youtube, but they're only able to do so as they're put under a whitelist that Google has for being trusted and permitted to do so.

You could still have music that can autoplay on mute and the user could unmute it, or that you can play manually if you want. But, honestly I don't see majority of users here even bothering to be wanting to listen to such music or these sounds effects on whatever pages you want to be putting sound on. Personally, when I'm on PH doing my interactions or whatever else I'm listening to music or other things like podcasts in the background on Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify, etc etc.

Quote from God~I'm not so sure, if the marquee tag will work, as I've read that it's for html, which PH isn't.

Any webpage on any site can use HTML, and this site is no exception (uses tons of it). Anything that is HTML or even HTML5 will work just fine for PokéHeroes.

All it comes down to is if something is or can be supported on other browsers (especially mobile ones), since not all code in different coding languages would be cross-browser compatible. Marquee in this case is pretty old so it should work on every modern browser without any issue.
