When Cat reached the other side of the beach, she skidded to a halt, spraying sand in front of her. She quickly hid behind one of the rocks nearby and changed back into her human form. She looked back at the tracks she left. “Eh, I’m sure it’ll be fine if I don’t do anything with them.” She was confident the water would wash them away soon enough.

She made her way back to the resort, having gotten any extra leftover energy out. Breakfast would be next.

She enter Karen’s Cafe, “Hi! I’m back. What’s for breakfast?”

(I have no idea what the time of day is right now, so I’m going to assume its day 2/morning)

When Cat woke up, the sun had yet to rise. This was perfect.

She quickly and quietly left her room, making her way to the beach. Finding a secluded spot where no one could see her, she would morph into her Pyroar form, fire temporarily roaring around her before dissipating. Anyone else would assume she was a lion. The only way one could tell it was her was if they recognized her eyes and scar in this form.

Without any further hesitation, she ran along the beach, avoiding the use of any Fire type moves as to avoid detection.

Man, I love vacation! Cat thought as she ran.

Cat watched as Angel left. Then she looked back to Cassandra, "Don't you think that was a little, uh... cold?"

Without waiting for a reply, she shrugged, "Well, I should probably get back to my room. I got a big day tomorrow." She stood up, heading for the resort.

She planned on getting up early so she could beat everyone else to the beach. Maybe run around in her Pyroar form for a few minutes before the sun came up and stretch its legs so she didn't scare anyone.

"Yeah, I get that," she said. Unfortunately, whether it was for her or for them, she ended up talking about a story.

"One time, before my squad actually became a squad, and there were just four of us, we were told to stay at the Academy instead of going straight to the hideout of the guys who attacked us. Good thing we decided against it, 'cause we wouldn't of found our good buddy Hector and recruited to the squad. Dude can easily carry a couple tanks like it was nothing.

"Pretty sure that's the reason our squad is always under constant supervision by actual Skylanders, but eh, it was totally worth it. Half the stuff we do is pretty crazy, anyways."

Ping's answer was the more mysterious of the three, and most likely one she wouldn't get too many answers from, and Cassandra's she could get see, so she settled with asking Angel first. "Ah," she said. Her mind went back to her adopted little brother, Tucker. She couldn't bring him with her, since she wasn't sure they'd allow him in. Maybe he'd be interested in reading the book, even though he wasn't allowed to fight, yet.

She didn't continue the conversation, so when Cassandra left, she was alone. A few minutes passed by, and she grew bored. So, she followed Cassandra, spotting her sitting with someone else.

Well, time to introduce herself to another person.

She approached, "Hi again, Cassandra! Sorry if I sounded a little rude earlier." Turning to the unknown person, she waved, "Hello! I'm Cat!" Her tail positioned itself to convey how friendly she was.

When Cat arrived at the beach, she looked around for a towel to rent. When she found one, she used the gold she had, then took it down to the beach. She didn't want it too close to the water that she'd get splashed, but she didn't want it too far, either. Finding the perfect spot, she laid out the towel on the sand before laying down on it. She put her sunglasses over her eyes, before quickly nodding off and taking a nap.

"Oh, that's good," she replied, relieved that her gold would work here. She didn't mind the stares she was getting, having gotten used to them a couple years ago.

Nodding the Karen, she sighed, "Well, apparently my squad insisted that I needed to take some time off. Saving the universe and all that is pretty crazy. At least I invested in having a co-leader for when one of us ain't there."

"Anyways, what's on the menu? Need to keep my energy at one hundred percent, I enjoy me some good grub."

When Cat found a map, she memorized the building's layout within seconds.

"Karen's Cafe. Doesn't sound too bad," she murmured to herself. "East side of the hotel. Got it."

She made her way to the cafe, the map ingrained in her memory. By the time she found it, it appeared to be empty with the exception of a single worker behind the counter. She must've caught them at a good time. She entered, smiling as she walked up to the register, "Hello! I assume you can take any kind of currency?"
