I was thinking it would be great if we could add some Magikarp sprites from Magikarp Jump (a mobile Pokémon game .) I think this would add a little fun . Almost like collecting every Vivillion. Maybe not all the sprites from the game , but a few different forms . You could also have a contest for people to design what Gyrados they evolve into (since they don’t evolve in Magikarp jump ) .

Hmmmm maybe? Sounds interesting but instead of fully implemented into the game, maybe it could be set aside as a mini game from the Game Center or as one of those contests? (Like the bug hatching)

The problem about this might be that they could be megaable...

i would support those different karps but i think they should not be able to evolve

Maybe you could only get them Via fishing then ? The better rod you own the more likely to catch different patterns . The pattern Magikarp could be considered an event/emera Pokémon and also just not evolve due to that So that there is no problem with mega able
OR
again it could be a cool contest to design mega Gyrados / gyrados evolutions for them .
SWDLoves suggestion is also good ! To have a contest for the fished up Karps like a bug contest would be a great way to use it .
