Ami was laying on the floor, staring at the ceiling. She was bored.

(It's ok. I probably should do some describing stuff)

The cells the Defermane were being held in were frankly hellish. The grey stone walls were covered in moss and glowing fungi, and the small patches that weren't covered were slick with water. he floor was covered with straw and there was a small outcrop on each wall for a makeshift bed, with a musty blanket as means of warmth.

Ariana was curled into a ball on the makeshift bed. She was slightly shaking and not because she was cold, she was terrified of what was going to happen to her.

Pearl covered herself with the musty blanket on her makeshift bed. She wondered why the Defermane and the normal people were fighting, couldn't they just accept each other for being different and become friends? "But I guess the world doesn't work that way anymore." She said to herself.

Ila and Ali were sat, quietly, in the corner of their cell - Ila with her knees pressed to her chest and Ali with a protective arm around his sister. At this point, Ila had accepted her fate whereas Ali was raking through every possibility to get them free.

From outside the cell's tiny windows, all of the prisoners were able to see the stone daias with a large wooden pole in the middle, surrounded by more firewood and kindling. A crowd was already forming around, all non marked. The anticipation was building...

"To your feet demons!" A beautiful female voice snapped. The woman came into view, her long purplish-black hair going down past her waist. She wore a black dress with feathers on it. Her beautiful purple eyes were cold.

Ariana quickly got to her feet at the command. She notices the women before the cells and remembers seeing her with the evil man that threw her in here. What was her name? Robin? no... something more elegant.... Raven! Raven Bloodclaw! She thought her eye wide.

More Inquistors barged into the cells, hoisting each prisoner to their feet. "Were shall we take the scum, my lady?" One of them addressed Raven.

"To the stone daias." Raven said "And once there tie them to the stake that is there." She finished turning around and walking off to meet with Tallon near where the burning would take place.

Ariana shivered at the thought. We're going to be burned alive..... this can't be happening... She thought.

"Demons? That is a little harsh. No need to be mean." Septen sighed looking at the Inquisitors. "Also can you not force us to stand. You could dislocate the shoulder preventing us from being able to test your experiments. Also are you guys the equivalent of Nazis?"

"Yes mam." The Inquisitor said, bowing once, and leading the Defermanes to the central plaza, where the dias stood. The soldier who was holding Septen hit him over the head. "Quiet, you. We are not experamenting on you. You are to be burned for your sins."

Pearl felt scared for herself and the other Defermanes. She wanted to protest and find a way both sides could be friends, but how does one get the darkness to see the light?

Septen coughed a bit "Oh. That is bad. That is a little harsh. Are trials out of the question? Or you can use us against the enemy castles. Also free speech ma'am. You only dislike me because you don't understand me."

"Mr.Ricky...will save...me." Noemi muttered.

"Save yourself. Summon me and we shall be free. The knights will lose one as I in the crowd. Just bring out my card." The Ace of Spades whispered in her head.

The Defermane were dragged to the dias, where the Inquisitors standing nearby began to tie them up to the stake as the crowd jeered and booed.

Meanwhile, two hooded figures made their way into the throng of onlookers, one muttering under their breath. As they did, the rope around the sacrefices slackened slightly.

Septen smiled at how his ropes were loosened a bit. So all he had to do was stall. "Can I have a final wish. Like a quick dance or a drink? Just a final act of kindness cause you are probably religious."

Dominic tsked a bit. "Care to let an angel go? I can fly and heal minor injuries."
