Adults shouldn't be allowed to complain about media outside of their target demographic? Don't get me wrong, I agree that people are allowed to have opinions and that constructive criticism is good, but there's a fine line between respectfully going over flaws and straight up bashing. Since that media wasn't made for adults, I feel like their complaints aren't valid and that they need to stop taking it so seriously.

Here's a few more to add to my list:
Wings of Fire-No, I'm not talking about the younger fans, they're kids that are still learning so they're not nearly as annoying as some older fans out there.
Paper Mario-It's not that the whole fandom is bad, it's just that you've got to steer clear of the people who act TTYD was the only game.
Mario and Luigi-Also another fandom where all of it isn't bad, you just have to stay away from the people who claim Bowser's Inside Story was the best and act like Dream Team and Paper Jam are terrible just because they don't have a certain character in them.

I've seen threads like these on FR, so I decided to bring one here to PH! I'll start:

-It's the zombie apocalypse, so might as well plant a garden.
-Everyone fights over a nifty DS.
-Gritty reboot of Dora the Explorer.
-That one dragon game that everyone likes and isn't FR.
-These games are good, but the fandom is terrible.

We all have something we really love, but it has a terrible fandom.

What are some things you really like, but it has a really bad fandom? Before we discuss that, let's go over some rules:
-Please don't insult what other people like, this is a friendly discussion, not a debate on which franchise or version is better.
-Please don't attack other people over what they like, it's not hurting others 99% of the time.

For me, I really like Fossil Fighters, it's a game series where you revive dinosaurs and use them to fight other revived dinosaurs, but it has one of the worst fandoms I've ever seen. People act like the latest game killed their mother just because it exists, there's a group of people in the fandom who hate anyone who likes the latest game. People also act like the first game is perfect when actually, it has many flaws that hinder playing experience. Also, most people in the fandom just act straight up rude when they don't like something. Overall, I stay away from the fandom and only interact with the people I want to interact with.

	While it's not exactly hated, I honestly enjoyed Big Hero 6. While I understand the criticisms for the movie, I will argue against the people that claim that Frozen is better than Big Hero 6. (Not saying that Frozen is a bad movie, just saying that to me, the comparing it to Frozen doesn't really feel fair) [Read more]

We all have movies that we really like, but when we look them up, they're really hated by critics and other people.

So, what are some movies you love but nearly everyone else hates them?

REMEMBER: Please respect other people and the movies they like, they like that movie, not you, so it's not your job to argue about it with them.

For me, it'd have to be The Nut Job and its sequel (Don't judge me). The main complaint I've seen about it is that the protagonist isn't very likeable, but he redeems himself in the end and learns another lesson in the sequel. Most of the complaining I've seen for it has came from people who haven't even WATCHED it. It's not a movie for everyone, but I really liked it and I just love animals in general.
