Actual shiny shaymin has like a 0.000000000001% cause there are still 0 on site

@CatLady, true true. I'm glad I got it without [bigger] struggle, but I have to admitt, my hands was in pain because of all these interactions I've made back then.

@Zachy, we were talking about a plushie of Shaymin. I have no data about alternate colored version of Shaymin and I wonder if that form is obtainable for now.

It's possible for a Shaymin to hatch shiny; it's just the same random chance as any normal non-chained adopted egg; so yes, they're obtainable, but very very rare. It really wouldn't make sense if the 20% applied to the actual egg as well, because that would make shiny Shaymin way too easy to obtain.
Good thing we were talking about Plushies with the 20%, not the actual pokémon :p

@CatLady, I agree. Of course it would be cool [who wouldn't want to hatch a shiny hedgehog after 2nd, 3rd, 4th try or so?], but let's be serious. Every legend needs a lot of effort to be put into getting a shiny one.

Thus I'm gonna try to get it even though the chances are extremely low. :p

Since the Sky Gifts are still active- does that mean Shaymin is too? I know the first page had the end date for Shaymin, but not the Sky Gifts. I assumed they ended at the same time. Wondering if it got extended?

I would like to make a request for a possible idea for next year's Shaymin event.

With this event brought the new item - The Shiny Shaymin Plushie.

Now I spent almost every moment I could on mobile and on my computer interacting and I hit my own record of over 800,000 Interactions in total in a month (Around 810,000-830,000 I think I worked it up to.). Because as a Plushie collector it's one of the things I wanted the most from the event. I worked my fingers to the bone trying to get that plushie. I was so excited to see I had a 20% chance, every time I saw Shaymin to get it.

But I never went into that 20%. Which I find highly unfair.

I saw Shaymin 15 Times over the corse of the event. And I never obtained the Shiny Plushie. Shaymin never gave me the choice of the Shiny plushie.

How is this fair? It's completely luck baised which is fine until it gets into the relam of the unfairness.

Also this was all this year because I never joined in time for last year's event, I just missed it I think?


So I want to make a request that perhaps next year you might have to see shaymin 10 times before you are 100% guaranteed the plushie (On the 10th perhaps)? Or something like this.

Perhaps with like other events you have to have to collect 4/5 In the event before the next one is 100% Shiny like in the Dream world events.

So then it's still hard to obtain, and it's still down to luck meeting shaymin but with this method you are guaranteed to get the plushie.

It's just that I see people get the shiny plushie on their 1st-3rd attempt which is fine! Contgrats to them. But then it really makes me upset as well as others that we worked so hard for it, to be constantly let down by the fact we never got it.

Not everyone is lucky and this proved it. Entire Luck basied systems can be harsh, cruel and unforgiving. No matter how hard someone works for something, something that's completely luck baised is just unfair to those who did work hard though the event to then never get the items they were looking for.

So please maybe concider this?

I wasn't sure to put this here or in a suggestion because it's to do with the event but it's also a suggestion / Request? if mods want me to move this I will into the suggestion forum, I just put it here as it's more to do with the event than anything else

I'm pretty new to the site but... When I first read through your post I thought you put all 15 finds towards the Shaymin Plushie. But you said in the end you only put 4 towards the plushie. I understand your frustration, but IMO, if you really wanted the plushie, 4 times at 20% chance isn't enough - at least not enough to be so upset as to ask for them to change it to 100% after some kind of condition. I almost guarantee had you put at least 10 of those finds towards a plushie, you'd have probably lucked upon one of them being shiny (Of course though, there's still that chance you may not but). I think 20% imo was pretty generous, especially for it just being released. I like how this event went even though I joined only a couple days to the end of it.

Actually, they didn't need to select the plushie each and every time. When the icon appears in the taskbar, you can tell if that plushie is shiny or not. It has nothing to do with selecting the plushie each and every time, it doesn't increase your chances in the least. My son for instance had the chance to get the shiny plushie the very first time the shaymin appeared for him. So Nexy seeing the Shaymin 15 times is quite amazing and to not have the shiny plushie show up at all. For that matter, Nexy could have gotten the egg each and every time and it would hav still been the 20% chance on the shiny plushie. Getting regular plushies had nothing to do with increasing your chance to get the shiny.

I can say personally, I saw the shiny shaymin plushie a handful of times. It's very unfortunate you never got one. I do like the idea of a guaranteed plushie after some work. This is personal preference, though. I feel like that change may bring up a lot of complaints as well. Of course, there will be complaints no matter what is done.

I actually got the shiny plushie the second time I came across shaymin. It was very fortunate for me since I could grab the regular plushie the first time, then the shiny, then eggs all the future times. I tried so hard for a shiny shaymin, but oh well. I'll be working for that shiny shaymin next year ;3

So I'm slightly confused? So Form now to the Rest on the 11th we can still encounter Shaymin correct? And any after thall will disappear?

@Nexanda - Not necessarily ^^' It just means that any Shaymin that appeared in your userbar during the event, will stay and wait for you to decide a little longer, but that doesn't mean that new ones will appear ;)
Those that have already appeared, will stay a little longer, but new ones probably won't show up.
