My idea is that when you adopt an egg, and your doing a shiny hunt I think there should be a button that asks,"Are you sure you want to adopt this egg? It may break your shiny chain." Because some people might not see which egg it is and adopts it, then it breaks a chain you have been working oh so hard on.

This would make it really difficult for Ditto/ Kanto Birb hunters :v

Do you really think it takes that long to click a button. :/

Some people might be hunting events and picked up the wrong egg. I wasn't only talking about the lab.

I personally like this suggestion- only if it goes under the Safe Mode (Misc. Settings).
There is already a feature like this for the Daycare, also in the Safe Mode, though.

This is already implemented in the daycare and gem collector.

And, no support for it being in the lab - it's been suggested in the lab before (though I'm busy and not gonna search for a year old thread sorry) - and it really has no use there.

If you are on a shiny hunt, don't use the lab.

I like having safe mode, but this feature would make lab hunting IMPOSSIBLE, because on multiplyer days, you'd never get an egg if you like having safe mode.

The only other places you get eggs are the event shop, which has a confirmation, and the tall grass, where you select the species beforehand.

So this has no purpose except in the lab, where it would be an unnecessary hassle.

I think it's a good idea, I just think it needs a slight addition:
It should auto-activate when you're shiny hunting.
That way, those who labhunt or just regularly adopting, don't need the button to repeatedly pop up ^^

If you go to the lab and adopt an egg while you're shiny hunting it's really only your fault to be honest.

But even so, you do have the Egg Storage for that. uwu

Except for anyone that is premium, because our radars never turn off.

It isn't in the lab because there, it is an inconvenience more than anything else. Use common sense, eggs from the lab WILL break your chain.

Meanwhile, if this is implemented, premium users like myself would have to change the settings EVERY TIME they lab hunt - which I do between every actual hunt.

I like the confirmations, not gonna lie, but no argument for putting it in the lab will change my mind, because it just isn't needed there. And 99% of the time, it is a hassle, the other 1% it is your fault for going to the lab while on a hunt.
