Welp, this was a failure. I just hope SCEs won't be to only way to get Victini in the future

Not at all a complete failure meme. Yes, many of those who have posted do not support, as myself do. However, you are only looking at this from one angle.

Lets try looking this from a different point of view. Not one want's to compete with no prize, correct? The limited number of victini are limited as well. As someone else has said, how about their be different prizes, but overall more prizes handed out in general.

The first drawn winner of a particular gets first pick from that prize pool that contains X amount of vicitini eggs. Whether or not they have a victini, they don't have to choose it as their prize but may if they wish. An addition to the prize pool could be another event pokemon, non-breedable and only obtained via SCEs. This would give those who already have victini a reason to participate, but a reason to choose something else other than victini. Personally, I would love to see everyone get something based on their participation. I would have been happy with even a box/key of any color.

Another way to look at this is that the prizes are given as eggs. What if the victini eggs were replaced with victini vouchers? This would allow easier shiny hunting for victini, but also allow the possibility for those who want the eggdex and not just the pokemon to obtain it.

There are other ways to come to a solution.

I myself clicked my fingers to the bone, nearly 3k interactions during some and I entered around 11 SCEs. Nada for me. However, a friend of mine only entered 1 SCE, they filled the last open slot, only 1 egg could be won, and by the time the person had started clicking it was 4 minutes past the start of the event. My friend won that single egg.. Talking about luck there! Lol. And no, I'm not upset about it, I'm happy for my friend.

What if someone's purchased a victini, but they still want the eggdex? Should they be excluded?

Or you're trying for a shiny?

Plus, if there was something like that, whats to stop victini owners from letting a trusted friend who isn't participating hold their victini?

Would it be based on eggdex or pokedex? or both, excluding people who buy victinis from getting eggdexes, and those who gifted their first victini from getting another?

Honestly, no support. It's like saying those on mobile shouldn't be on ph, in a way or less. Yes, Victini's by chance. Even if the chance is greater doesn't mean it's a guarantee, heck I know some people who did like 10-100 interactions during sce and still got a victini- As mentioned, Victini is that motivation for people to participate in the SCE. I mean, Ecco still hasn't gotten the victini eggdex and he does like 5k interactions per SCE- There's also the possibility of getting a shiny victini, since Riako did say it wasn't shiny locked, so why prevent that? :x

I agree with Furret - without the possibility of another victini, I wouldn't join SCEs.

Why shouldn't those that click more keep getting victini eggs? They are the ones contributing the most after all. Before you tell me that's just cause I make a lot of clicks... I make about 400 clicks each SCE which is pretty little and I've gotten a victini ^^ So don't assume that you need to click a heck lot to get one - it's still largely on luck.


I'm going to leave this for a mod that actually moderates this forum since I'm not quite sure at what percentage they'd reject a suggestion.

Taking away the Victini as a prize, will take away the motivation to enter the SCEs. Even though who would join them regardless, will be less inclined to go their fastest, because they wouldn't get anything in return anyway. With additional prizes, it would make it even more difficult to fill in the open spots, because there's more luck involved.

Maybe a voucher [instead of egg] would work [as Omosky brought up], as it would make the prizes tradeable, but changing the actual prize pool, which is what this specific suggestion is about, wouldn't really solve the problem, only shift it to other unobtainable pokémon.

These reasons and the over 60% non-support, will be why I'll be rejecting this.
