It's time for my dumb question of the day! If I'm Radar Hunting, does getting the same egg as ones I'm breeding in the Daycare break my chain?

Like, I'm hunting Caterpie from the Daycare. If I also hunt Caterpie eggs in the tall grass, does that break my chain?

I swear, I feel I'm getting almost exclusively Unova Pokémon from Rowan........

Don't mind me and my 37 Vivillon Meadow forms, just trying to figure out how to breed the different forms... or are they region locked like in the actual games.....

Managing to get the Wonder Trade Ho-oh out of nowhere is actually kinda iconic, methinks...

I'm curious, for the Honey Tree, will Pokémon appear as shiny on the tree, or do you need to catch it first and then check it and it'll appear as shiny?
