A not-so-positive thought: If somebody wants to compliment you, the most likely thing they will say is: "Oh, wow, you look pretty/great/good/etc. You've lost loads of weight." and not, "Your new painting/book/video/song is brilliant, it's so cool." or something of that nature. Let people see that talent is more important than looks, any day. Who do you think will go down in history, Prof. Brian Cox, or Lisa Fonssagrives?
