Yay! Shiny Castform, I finally hatched one! Chain #102. Let's hope I have better luck if I use retros for my next try(Someone told me retro's give you a 2 base chance, if I recall correctly).

I am such a dolt. Trying to get a shiny castform, and saw a new shiny icon appear, so I went to it and got an egg from events, which will kill that if it hatches. lol Oh well.

What is the highest chain number you've gotten before getting a FIRST shiny pokemon with that species? Mine is currently 51, and it's with Castform(yet to hit shiny).

Not asking how long it takes, as it's random luck. I'm just wondering how long YOU stuck with it for a first one of the species.
