About me

Hey there, my name is Ashikawa and I have been on pokeheroes for almost as long as this site exists. I have never changed my username and probably never will, so if you don't remember me from back then, we probably didn't interact - but we can change that if you care to :D

Despite having been inactive for quite some time I checked back on this site from time to time, especially for the easter egg hunts, which were replaced by another event much to my dismay, but nevertheless: I really enjoy spending time on PH albeit as a rather casual player.

A fun fact about me is that I nearly won the Chat Quiz during Asian Week 2014, but failed on the last question due to a lack of pokemon knowledge - all the other questions were about Asian culture. I still think about this way too often.

Got my first shiny Tink today!

Anyone who is missing the whole evolution line can have one regular Tinkatink for free.

Tinkatink and Ditto only "get along". Is there a way to upgrade it to "get along very well" even though Tink is 100 % female? Maybe via egg group breeding?

Hisui Dex complete. This was by far the most annoying one.

I love how the author of the text we are reading in class refers to Chinese characters as the "most complex and most impractical symbols in the whole world" (繁雑不便宇内無二なる漢字) and appeals to the shogunate to abolish them entirely while using... you guessed it: almost exclusively Chinese characters xD
