I'm not sure how to raise my forum post count. It still says zero. Does only making threads count or are only posts counted in specific parts of the forum?

Posts in "Forum Games" don't count for the post count. You don't need to start a new thread, but some subforums don't count.
Anything in "PokéHeroes - General", "Discussion" & "General Discussion" are a safe bet.

There might be more that'll count, but these are the ones I'm certain about.
