What if there was like a tab or something where you could tell if someone has friends that are also friends with you?

were taking him to the top folks

It's not a bad idea but tbh, I don't think some people will be affected by this since not many people often use the friendlist(I think). But it will be a good additional feature for those who likes an organized tab so I support!
