For some reason, Kanto Meowth isn't available at the gem collector but Alolan Meowth is. Is it supposed to be that way?

To be able to "unlock" certain eggs to buy from that Gem Collector, you needed to have that Pokémon in your PokéDex or have/own that Pokémon first.. like, that Kanto Meowth.

I won the "Event Spriting Contest" as it says on News Announcement #224.
