The Puff HearFang, being highly oblivious to their surroundings, continued walking through the eerie dark trees. Kīra seemed to had noticed the flash of orange and yellow which briefly appeared above him and his friend and upped his guard in the event something occured. The Puff HearFang turned to look at their friend, noticing them staring at the sky with an uncertain expression. They rolled their eyes, thinking that their new friend was playing a prank on them. "How dare they!" they thought. "I've just met this guy not long ago, and he's already trying to scare me-! Why, the audacity!"
They sighed and walked closer, looking down on Kīra.
The Puff HearFang's words didn't seem to get caught by their friend. They were greeted by a deafening silence as Kīra walked past them. As they didn't want to be left behind, they ran after Kīra.
Puff started to gain a mix of emotions, mostly comprising of annoyance, confusion and anxiety. "The absolute audacity- they ignored and walked past me-!
...
Maybe... maybe they aren't scaring me...?"
Shivers ran down the HearFang's spine.
The two continued onwards without muttering a word to each other. Kīra turned his head away. He couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity he felt...
Dialogue (if images are blocked):
Puff: *Hey, what's wrong with you-?
Puff: *W-Why won't you answer me-? What's going on-?!
Kīra: *...
Decided to do the dialogue boxes as a test as I thought it may be fun, might not do it after this as it took ages to remove backgrounds and fix font, and I couldn't get the text box sizes exactly the same :'D
Also, I apologise for doing a whole story! I don't mind editing this and shortening it down :>

Suddenly, a yellow hearfang walked towards the two hearfangs.
“Hellow adventurerrr friendies! Would ye like meh to join yer? Bzzz~”
The hearfang’s voice was a mixture of excitement and buzzing.

The dragons landed, and a familiar voice spoke.
“Starchaser! Dont keep worrying me like that, please!”

Initially surprisd by the hearfang's appraoch. Tentei takes a few steps back, darting behing Joulez. "I... um... I'll let Joulez decide...
Joulez, however, glady replies, their own voice carrying a buzzy undertone. "Of courze! We're alwayz happy to find new friendz!"

Puff's pupils shrinked.
"Starchaser? Haven't I heard that name before..."
They desperately attempted to recall memories of their first expedition, though their thoughts were interrupted by Kīra stepping forward, spreading their wings and growling.
