The Raboot tolerated the pain once more. This time, he felt himself being scalded.


Maebure felt a part of him stinging. He turned his head in the direction of the Raboot and nervously blinked.

The Raboot jumped into the air and sinked into the floor, leaving a patch of creep in their place. They leapt out of the ground just behind FrazzledFur and booted their back.

The Raboot shrugged as they fell back into the ground, holding back a tear as they shook off the pain.

("Well, yeah. I used to see you at camp, Amnesiac.")

They disappeared into the floor and reappeared right in-front of the Ditto.

The Raboot's vision slowly got blurred. FrazzledFur seemed to distort, and glitched voices screamed laughs in their ears.

Then the voices kicked in.

"Oh, Wheatley... look how much stronger you've become..."

The Raboot slowly turned his head. Behind him stood an Inteleon.
Its expression was warming, making the Raboot slightly smile.

("...E-Espio...?")

The lizards smile widened.

"I'm glad you remember me... After all, it has been 10 years since we last spoke..."

A few tears fell from the Raboot's eyes. They darted to the Inteleon and gave them a tight hug. The Inteleon placed their right hand on their friend and looked up.

("Are you... the real Espio...? Like, I'm not hallucinating, right...?")

Espio's expression changed to a slightly crestfallen one.

"You are indeed hallucinating. However... I am the genuine Espio. I'm... deceased, however. You... remember the incident which caused this.

FrazzledFur... they've put you in a state of confusion. Try snapping out of it. I believe you can, Wheatley...!"

The Raboot shook his head.

("I don't want to leave you again.")

"Oh, Wheatley... you have to...! There are others you must protect... and remember that I'm always going to believe in you, even if I cannot physically be by your side.

The Raboot sighed and looked at the floor.

("...Yeah. The others are in danger. I can't let anyone else receive the same fate as you and Silver.")

Espio smiled and patted the Raboot's head.

"Good luck."

With a final smile, the hallucinations and Espio faded as the Raboot slammed into the wall, letting out a slight cry as ink fell off his paws.
