"Oh?" Mona took a step back, tilting her head. "Me? I'm going with Kendo. I mean, we're practically betrothed, you know? He says we should date first, I say he's crazy." She laughed, shaking her head. "Are you bringing someone, Adara?"

Ayran raised an eyebrow.

What was that trip of tongue?

Ayran looked at 'Lydia' once more, but this time with much greater focus. He looked for any other signs of familiarity in this person that aren't related to Kendo. He feels like he was missing something.

Something important.

Something dangerous

..but he couldn't exactly put his finger onto it.

"Hmm.. I see."

So let's put the matter to rest for now.

"By the way, how did you and Lady Mona meet in the first place?" Ayran asked as he was being led into the girl's room.

Bliss stopped for a moment. "I went over to Kendo's for dinner, and then I met her. She's honestly such an angel when you get to know her. Anyway, I'll be in the bathroom, give me just a few minutes." Bliss shot a glance at Trixie, something dark and twisted in her gaze before she turned the corner.

"You'll find someone, Athena. I believe in you." Mona encouraged her whenever she could, brushing through Adara's mane. Very thick but very soft and nice. She really liked it. "What about you, Adara?"

Adara shakes her head. "I don't have anyone either. Though it's the opposite, I doubt anyone wants to go with the bug that can crush you." This time, she feels a little more comfortable and laughs before looking at Athena. A stare from her yellow eyes with a little cross in them. "Hard to match the pristine princess though." She laughs, slapping herself on the thigh. "Can't all have a bethoted prince." She mispronounced bethrothed... "But you'll find someone. I'm sure."

"Oh no, I'm sure you'll find someone as well." Athena laughed with her, completely unbothered by Adara's outburst, which her mother would have wrinkled her nose at and promptly pulled her away, while muttering about uncouth peasants. "Thank you, it's just most people here are so boringg." She said it in a little whine, but her eyes sparkled while doing so.

"I like this. I haven't had a proper girl's day in forever." Mona laughed along with the other two, dying down to a low chuckle after. "It's really fun to not have to worry about classes and studies anymore. Soon, we'll be off into the world on our own as adults!"

"Oh yeah, it's almost weird to think that this ends." Adara laughs a little too, looking at Mona and then Athena. Back home, she had to fight and earn the trust but here... it's a lot easier. Shame the real life couldn't be so accepting. She blinked a few times, trying to not shake her head clean to not disrupt her hairdresser. "So, what are your plans after tomorrow? Apart from a certain wedding."

"Yess, I'm not sure how you can stand Kendo, that bastard." Athena teased Mona playfully. "Well, they're not my plans exactly, more like my mom's. She wants me to return to the Palace immediately and continue with all the boring princess duties there. Oh, and to sort through all of the proposals collected during my time away. Makes me want to find someone just to skip all that." She was also going to have to figure out how to run her "business" without raising suspicion.

“Actually… I barely know anyone in our grade, a few faces and names, but little else. Currently, I’m just hoping to push past being acquaintances with anyone.” Kae said, fiddling with the cuff of their sleeve, trying to relax a little, despite the palpable tension.

“Are you going with anyone?” She asked, trying to keep the conversation from becoming one sided. The last thing she wanted was to appear uninterested.

"Well, not me. The teachers have a good enough impression of me anyways. I'll probably just turn up later and give them some "gifts". Mona here, has been spending some quality time with Kendo in the classes. You have to see how they stare at each other while the professor rambles on about some random topic." Athena grinned mischievously, the teachers could never figure out the source of their bad day was her pretty little charm.

Adara laughs, in her ears, that was a compliment. "Question though, with you two being these "noble elites of Selin." Adara made a little posh accent but it clashed a lot with her natural accent. "Everyone's boring." Athena's tone was mock-dismissive. "Ok, honestly though, there have certainly been some interesting proposals, but no one is really as interesting as their proposals. Many are either swooning at the thought of a perfect princess, or trying to steal her crown. They've all fallen in love with their imaginings of me, and no one has really bothered to get to know me."
