Cease to Exist
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Cease to Exist"Well, when you decide you've had enough of the mosquitoes, just come find me. I'll be in my room."
He walked into his room and flopped onto his bed. It had honestly been a pretty tiring day. He had gotten confirmation that his little project wasn't going to ever be finished. He had already suspected it, but still, it wasn't the best news he could have gotten.
The ship lurched back and forth. It wasn't like waves, it was sharp and jagged.
He rushed to the deck, swaying back and forth. When his hand reached out for the floor, he slipped and fell. He cracked his head on the steps, but Freyr shook it off and stepped into the night air. His heart was pounding and he could barely see from the spots in his vision. A dark mist was flitting around the deck.
A dark mist with a humanoid figure at the center.

Her eyes widened ad she pulled out a knife. She walked to the (uhm, deck???) of the ship, to gauge how dangerous the entity was and if she should get others.
She saw a thing cloud of fog/mist, and an Entity at the center. No matter how strong she was, she could not take on the evil alone.
It seemed not to have noticed her yet. That was good. It had only 'seen' (can entities see? Do they have eyes?) Freyr so far. No matter if he was a traitor, he was one of them, they were united.*
*for now
She soundlessly and nimbly disappeared down the stairs. "Everyone! Wake up!" She whisper-yelled. "DO NOT make a sound. We have an entity encounter. Upstairs. Quite strong, it seems, only noticed Freyr. Use the element of surprise. MOVE OUT!"

Something about it seemed off.
She decided to battle it herself. Damn her, but she still needed prove herself to someone.
She took out her small double knives and began creeping forward.
Freyr gasped for breath, breaking the peace. He staggered to his feet and held out his hand. His pupils dilated and turned white, he closed his hand into a fist and drew in a breath.
With a flash the entity was a few inches away from Freyr. He held the dagger used to collect specimens to the entity's neck. He plunged it in and another flash of light came from his eyes. The shadow melted from his hands and came back together a few yards away. Freyr clutched the dagger to his chest, watching the drop of blood make its way down the blade, and then down the handle, and then onto the wooden floor. It was lost.
His eyes returned to normal, and he fell to the ground, feeling weak. He had taken one of his drugs, and now he was facing the consequences. He leaned against the side of the boat, spots appearing in his vision.
What the...??
Her narrowed eyes locked onto Freyr and she stalked towards him, not bothering to mask her movements. In a swift motion, she tucked away one of her knives in her cloak. She yanked him by his hair with her other hand and held a blade to his throat.
"What was that?" She snarled, her feet starting to transform into paws in her anger. "What did you do?"
She slunk through the shadows, trying to remember how to kill a Stage Three; an entity whose human is too far gone to save, but not a 100% transformation yet.
How to kill a Stage 3. She commanded to her brain.

"No! You have it all wrong, I was just trying to get some of its blood, and I- I don't know."
He dug through his pockets again and held out a vial.
"This is the drug I took, gives you powers for as much time as your body can handle it. I tried to use it."
He yanked away and ran his fingers through his hair. He shook his head and quickly found another dagger in his coat. He shot it at the entity and it landed true on it's heart. Golden cracks emerges from its core and it fell to its knees. When Freyr rushed forward to look at it, it looked more like a young child.
"Sh!t."
He found bandages and began pressing them on the wound.
"I-It's a child, we have to help her."
