Iteral turns a tiny bit red. Not out of romance or love or whatever, she just... did not expect to be called that. "Pft, Professor, look at Mona. She's supposedly four and a half billion years old and starts crushing on a person she considered "family" for the past seventeen years."

A fourth juice box appears.

"Considering you are like..." She counts on her fingers. "Four orders of magnitudes younger, you're performing well. Or Mona's caught a case of the Habsburgers."

Mercy walked back downstairs quietly, wearing nothing but a thin dress she always wore to bed and a long feathery robe that made her look like a ghost as she walked. She went to the kitchen to get a drink, having brushed her pink and blonde hair behind her shoulders. Her face was obscured by the darkness, the only light source being from the living room where Kendo and Iteral were. The fridge door opened and shut, and she walked away as silently as she came.

Mercy stopped in her tracks. She could still hear them talking- but about what? She stayed near the stairs, standing completely still and not making a noise. Were they okay?
