Act I - Melodramatic Cries

Rules
• Mild profanity is allowed. This may be censored and will be at a minimum.
• Please don't bunny/godmod anyone's characters.
• OC usage in this is encouraged.
• Characters can be anything as long as their species isn't overcomplicated.
• Please don't make your character overpowered. They can have multiple powers if you wish, but don't make them omnipotent.
• There is no character limit, but it is encouraged that you don't add more than 3 per act.
• This is divided into different parts (Acts) in order to let others steer the story their way and change the tone/setting of the RP!

The Lore

The starting location for Act I will be in Archen.
Archen is one of the five realms aside from Earth, Glaïzen, Nabla, and Zycron (lore for the other 3 is not entirely important to this Act). Archen is home to peculiar species known as 'Pokémon'. These creatures - some being hostile and some being friendly by heart- seem to be a common find around the realm.
Archen is a floating island located north of Earth. Many from around come to visit the realm due to the rare delicacys and views they behold.

The place where you find yourselves is at a college. Either you're a student there, or you came to visit the place, you find yourselves confined in the building. It seems to be an oddly quiet day, even though you thought you saw over 200 students enter the premises.

In reality, it appears there are only a few of you actually present.

At roughly 1:52pm, the school goes into lockdown. An ink-like creature cloaked in shadows and created from malice appears to have appeared in the school and is on the hunt for any living organism in the school. What it plans to do upon capture is unknown.

Signs of the creature being nearby:
○ Overexaggerated screeches/Almost melodramatic sounding cries
○ Ink trails
○ Vision goes hazy when ~100 metres away from creature
○ Seeing white, luminous eyes

Upon noticing any of these signs, do not run. Any attempt to flee when in the creatures line of sight will trigger its heightened range of detecting where you are. Escaping it is likely, however it will be difficult to evade it.

Why did you even come to this school, anyway? Did you know the creature was to come?

Your task is to find out more about this creature and escape the building. All of the doors are locked with keys scattered around the school. Although the place seems lonely and abandoned, there are sure to be people around here. Right? Maybe there is a chance someone you know is in the facility with you, too...

Kovox stands at around 5"6 (1.70688m). He wears a huge, light-grey coloured hoodie like piece of clothing, which is too big for him. The sleeves hide his paws completely. His grey jeans are torn near the end of his left leg. He wears beige coloured shoes (which look like Converses, but with the tongue pulled out a bit too much and large grey bowties on them) and has a pair of large, black glasses which sit in front of his light, mint coloured eyes. He has a large fringe, which covers half of his right eye. Co has huge ears with not much fluff towards the ends. Inside his ear, however, is awfully fluffy. He has a lot of neck fluff. His tail is big enough for him to hide behind and is very bushy.
Personality: Kovox is awfully timid. He can be very confident when with people he considers friends and can get very flustered by compliments easily. He tries hiding his embarrassment by cowering behind his tail.
Backstory: Kovox doesn't have much lore to him. He calls himself very boring due to this fact.
Voice Claim: Unconfirmed, but they have a slight Norwegian/Russian accent.

Gender/Sexuality: Female (She/Her) | Heterosexual
Species: Noivern
Appearance: Erin stands at the typical height for a Noivern (1.5m/4"9). She has slight head fluff and has her tail wrapped firmly around a lantern handle. It's unknown if it works.
Personality: Erin is typically angsty, untrusting, and confident. She strides in attempting to appear cool. When faced with danger, Erin will typically flee or let her companion resolve the issue. She's mostly lazy, not bothering to do work, and prefers hiding her emotions away from people in fear they'll humiliate or not understand her.
Backstory: TBA.
