I believe it happens...
It is because(my guess) you have been afk/doing another stuff in between the battle like palpad for a while...
And after doing your stuff maybe you tried to attack...
And at that time the page needed to refresh because of something...(maybe because of the stuff you did over the battle)
It counts as an invalid move and refreshes

But as I'm not an expert, I would say I'm not correct
What all I said was based on my experience
Bcuz I have faced this too
But I didn't count this a bug
