Hu Tao's Attempt at Sprite Making

Hiya! I wanted to try spriting just to see if i'm any good or not ~~(though I know im not hehe)~~
Feel free to post in this thread as I post more sprite creations.
Feedback would be nice, but please don't give harsh criticism as I only just started so I'm trying to get the hang of it

So, without further ado, here are my first creations:

New Sprites

Coalbasaur & Moltensaur

Coalbasaur's Pokedex Entry:
"This pokemon spent too much time near a volcano, which is why it's body turned to coal."

Moltensaur's Pokedex Entry:
"The leaves that once were on it's back have now burned away and have been replaced by fire."

THE CHARMANDER IS REALLY GOOD. But, i think the colors for the coalbasaur might be a little dark? idk

coalbasaurs eyes look kinda funky ngl
it looks like it would smell good also
