The man ruffles his hair. He seems impatient, and powers on with his speech. "The others can catch up when they get here, I guess."

He points towards the battle ground. "Anyways, the first test is a dueling test, no magic is allowed. Fryverns, Werewolfs, and Draykens may change forms for brief periods of time. Here is the list of duels.

"Ayran V. Charisma. Charkira V. Scarlett. Cath V. Kaori. Lucinda V. Kendo. And Athena V. Sobble. These are not any indication of previously known strength, they were decided simply at random. You each have five mins to win your duels, and I will be observing all of you. Now go."

Scarlett sighed. Of course it had to be Charkira.

Lucinda tightened her grip on her bow If her strength is ranged, and Kendo has melee weapons, as long as she doesn’t get to close to him she should have an advantage, she was fast and nimble as a ranged archer after all “Sir, who’s goi by first?” Lucinda asked

Immediately, Kendo was in the air behind Lucinda, hood up, scarf covering his mouth. His red eyes glinted with malice, as he raised his axe to strike.

Lucinda turned and saw Kendo behind her, she quickly dodged to the side and knocked a explosive arrow into her bow and fired, all the time not slowing down or stop moveing

Kendo landed, and launched himself through the air, spinning to dodge the arrow, knocking it away with the hilt of his sword. he landed, and launched himself at Lucinda, his axe ready to strike.

Lucinda saw Lendo coming and rolled away to the side, she reached for normal arrows as the explosive arrow exploded in the bleachers, this time she knocked three into her bow and fired, they whistles and flew towards Kendo

The man's onslaught never stopped. he sliced arrows out of the air, a chilling aura surrounding him. His eyes were cold, and gave away nothing. The moment he got close enough, It's all over for Lucinda. His red eyes resembled that of a demon, as he continuously launched himself at Lucinda, dodging and blocking arrows.

Lucinda saw that she had no time the knock another arrow, Knedo was too close, she didn’t have space to dodge, other fighters were fighting. She raised her golden bow and parried Kendo’s axe and stepped to the side.

Kendo hooked the bow with his axe, and yanked the bow out of her hands. He smacked her on the side of the head with the flat edge of his blade, sending her to the floor.

Lucinda felt dazed, the side of her head was bleading, but not a lot. she climbed back up, grabbing her bow from the side and dodged Kendo’s blade, she knocked her fastest arrow and let it fly towards Kendo’s ankle, Kendo, being tall, will find it harder to break the arrow. Lucinda knocked another few arrows into her bow, frost, Light and flame arrows. All shot like bullets towards Kendo’s limbs

Kendo, in a blink of a eye, sheathed his sword and pulled out his long staff. He flicked away the arrows neatly, before throwing it straight at Lucinda.
