"I dunno, having friends is good but that probably doesn't count. I just feel like Calico is my best buddy and will always understand me no matter what. Even though I'm a human and he's a cat."

Atticus watched Queen Lily and Najomi work. Cath... He had almost died of dark magic, but there was something about it that made him want more. Something about it...
He stood and made his way to where he believed Cath to be.
"Cath?"
He could feel blood rushing in his ears. He wanted dark magic. It felt good. Those words he had spoken to Rin, the nice ones, he couldn't believe he said them.
She probably thinks I like her or something... Do I?
He shook his head as he searched. Definitely not. She scared him, but if he were to love anyone anytime again, it would be Cath. His hands fidgeted as he searched for Cath.
He finally located Cath and stood a few feet away.
"Cath? Can I talk to you?" His voice was soft, but sort of timid.

"Wow, well I guess telling animals gender from just their appearance is hard for others. So, what do you want to do?"

Ayran stood up and ran towards the commotion. He has a horrible feeling, but this time it was more worse than ever. He found Sobble and Calico together. He calmed down and steadied his rapid heartbeat.

"..Sobble.. do you happen to know where Scarlett is..?" He tried to sound as normal as possible, but he wasn't sure if his acting skills fooled Sobble though.

Now going back to a few moments back, before Ayran ran to Sobble.

He was sitting in a meditation posture in the forest, calming his emotions down, and taking a well-needed break. But unfortunately, before he could mull on his choices, he suddenly felt a pause in the air. It was eerily quiet.

So quiet that it almost made him scared, and raised goosebumps on his skin. He silently stood up and looked at his surroundings, before looking towards a certain direction, his thinning out into a line, like a eye of a dragon.

But he couldn't find anything unusual. It was strange, and it made him extremely paranoid, as if he doesn't move now, it'll be too late soon.

Wait.. Too late for what?

That was when he realized why this feeling that came from deep in his guts felt so familiar! Everytime he had this feeling, like his heart is about to break in two, it's always because of Scarlett!!

Ayran looked in that direction again, and wings sprouted on his back, and immediately flew there.

Now at present time, it didn't take long before Ayran arrived back on the academy campus, but what was strange was that he couldn't find a single red hair of Scarlett among the students. It truly worried him so much that he didn't even hide his wings on the back.

Fortunately, he found Sobble with Calico as always, together, without a scratch, perfectly intact. Seeing Sobble and Calico unharmed, barely relieved Ayran's worries, so he could only hope that Sobble could have some answer for him, and know what happened, during the few hours he left the academy campus.

"I sense you are worried... I don't know where your friend Scarlett is but maybe some meditation would help you. Some tea might work well too but I don't have the resources for it right now."

Ayran stared at Sobble in disbelief, did Sobble really not know anything or was he just joking.

He really hoped that it was the latter.

Ayran coughed into his hand for a moment, clearing his throat before Looking at Sobble in the eye serious, "Sobble, I'm not in the mood to joke right now, so I'll go straight to the point. Do you know what happen when I was gone, and do you know where Scarlett is, and if she is safe or not?"

He shooted multiple questions at Sobble all at once, not taking a single breath in between them.

"Woah woah chill, I don't know where Scarlett is or the whatnot but I might be able to help you. Any leads so far?"

Kai stared at it being confused why would he just throw a bunch of question

Lady Najomi's magick sparked as she created the concoction with haste. She bit her lip, frowning. "I have no idea if this will work or how to administer it." Queen Lily shook her head in confusion as well.

"Where's Scarlett?"

She heard him. Melvin was here. But where was here?

"We're going to have a fun time, you and I." Melvin murmured.

"Where the H3** is this?" Scarlett barked.

"I'm surprised you don't know. I moved you to the shadow realm, my dear." He purrs.

Melvin's library door reappeared before Ayran and Sobble, the door partially cracked.

Aiden looks up and replies with, "She's in the forest with that color guy. I trust hi for now."

"Anyways I'm going to go back to meditating now. If you need me, you know where to find me." Sobble and Calico begin meditating.

Atticus slowly walked up to Cath.

"Cath- I- I'm sorry for doubting you. The burden of dark magic. It- it's just so heavy and I feel like you go through so much every single day to stay sane."

He took a breath.

"Cath. Rin- I don't know what's going on, but her body just disappeared. She sent me one last message before vanishing. It was; Running away to live alone has been my dream. Thank Cath."

"I'm here, Att. She's... passed on. I felt it too. We're... lucky."

Cath sighed.

"I'm sorry too. I still can't tell you everything; I promised the Queen and Melvin my silence."

Her breathing was heavy and laboured. Rin stood, with tears in her eyes. Her puny illusion powers couldn't help her.

It's for the best... She kept telling herself. If they knew I was here... they'd come for me-and get disintegrated before they set foot on the Plane of Distortion...
Sure...she'd lied to the two people she cared about...but it was for their safety.

If Scarlett hadn't followed her there in the first place, everything would have been alright.

The screams of distortion were loud and horrible. Souls and souls-even carlisle's-torn and withered. Just let me decay here...I deserve it. She could feel her soul split, then scream, cry, yell, and add to the chaos. But somehow...she was fine. She looked at the other version of herself...and wasn't horrified. They touched hands and...joined back into one.
What was happening? No human could survive the distorian world.
She jumped of the platform of Darkness that she was standing on, and fell into the abyss. Surely this was her end.

But another platform caught her...every time she tried to jump off...
But why? It's not like anyone can master the Distortion Realm...can they?
Suddenly an image appeared. It was the real world. She touched the screen with her hand, but couldn't go through it. Rin reached her hand up, and touched a cloud on the screen. As if it was listening to her, the cloud disintegrated.

What was happening?

Aiden sighs and walks over to the group, "Sooo what's going on? I wasn't paying attention." He sheaths his sword and notices their sad expressions, he looks confused as he says, "Wait did something happen?"

He would take note of the silence that seemed to last years and nodded in understanding as if he knew what went wrong, he then took a seat near the group and tended to his sword, making sure of no imperfections within.
