how does the egg radar work? where does it work?

You can access the "Tall Grass" area if you have an Egg Radar by hovering over the "Town" Tab, located at the top of every page.

In the "Tall Grass" area, you can look for eggs that have been sent to the wild.

You also need to have Egg Radar Chips first, in order to actually search for eggs in the "Tall Grass" area.
