If he couldn't figure out the answer to that, he really was dumb. To tell the truth though, she hadn't really thought the whole thing through, she was more angry that he had shot Kendo, and didn't even care that she had turned up in the middle of nowhere. And she was really really angry at the government. They had as good as abandoned her as soon as they realized she wasn't coming back. And Time was one of those who could locate her on his map, should she get close enough, but he didn't make much of an effort to try.

Athena sighed. "I don't know what will make you believe it if this doesn't." She didn't move an inch. She had pulled the emergency power before, when Kendo came to 'kidnap' her, and it was perfectly safe. Of course, there was a slight chance that it would actually make the place blow up, but she didn't really care. She could survive most explosions by being in the right place at the right time.
