She towered to the ceiling, and using an enderpearl block glitch, mined a piece of the bedrock. The first step of her plan was complete. Returning to her portal, she traveled back to the overworld. She destroyed the portal, and used netherack and lava to make it look like just another abandoned portal site.
Going in the exact opposite direction of civilization, she traveled into a vast desert. Entering the temples she found, she carefully mined down, and disassembled the TNT trap with ease. Inside the chests, she found gapples, emeralds, and a unbreaking III and a silk touch book to begin her collection.
At the edge of the desert, she crossed a river, finding herself in a plains biome, which quickly gave way to cliffs. Z3Ro traveled into the mountains, and finally found what she was looking for: ice spikes. She laughed maniacally. Her time with Laff and Blaza had taught her well: no one expects the unexpected when the unexpected is expected.

While she waited, she began to mine the natural ice on the cliff. It quickly became apparent that someone had set up a base on the mountain. Z3Ro didn't care. She still didn't care when she saw the name tag "Kendo" a few dozen blocks below her. She shifted a few times, drawing attention to her flickering name tag, and returned to mining. He'd investigate if he was interested.
She had close to four stacks of ice. About halfway to her goal. But night was falling fast. Z3Ro began to mine gravel, looking to strike lucky and find flint. A few blocks later, she had a shiny new flint and steel. Taking the netherack she had mined earlier, she suspended netherack fire lamps in the air. Just enough light to keep mobs from spawning, but not enough to melt her precious ice.

She killed a spider, and used the string along with the string the piglins had dropped to craft a bow. She would need feathers for arrows. Z3Ro was fairly successful at finding emeralds and had half a stack. But then she broke one block too many.
She found herself in the base of a rich man. Z3Ro thought that she had been the only one to enter the nether, but she realized this player had gotten the achievement a half hour before her. Curious, she explored the edge of the base while holding the only white block she had, a piece of wool. She hoped he would understand she came in peace.

Z3Ro began to place the ice in a two block wide bridge. It didn't take long for her to place all sixteen stacks. At the far end, she block-glitch-broke four more pieces of bedrock in a two by two hole. Around her incision, she built a watch tower, and placed mob spawners she had broken from her mineshaft.
She lava casted the tower, making it an unbreakable obsidian. Adding the final touch, a water stream into the depths of the nether, she descended and began to build her base.

Z3Ro ran from furnace to furnace, collecting the bricks, and crafting them into nether brick. She paused only to kill the wither skeletons and the ghasts making her life difficult. Once she had a full inventory of nether bricks, she began to work on the cosmetics both inside and outside of her base. She created a crafting room, look out points, and the beginning of an enchanting room. Finally, she broke a few key blocks, letting the lava sea flow into her moat.
She had built her base on an island, and went around the perimeter of what was left, integrating the moat and the lava sea. By the time she was done, there was only a bridge leading to her fortress from the ceiling water stream. Z3Ro added mor lava for effect, and the entire build looked like the giant head of a nether dragon.
She smiled, and returned to overworld. Digging herself another mine, she began to mine for redstone. Z3Ro killed a colony of slimes, looting them of their valuable slimeballs. She returned to the nether, and automated her base. Perfect.
Using her fire resistance, she traveled across the lava sea, finding the second nether fortress. She dodged fireballs from the blazes, and finally found her prize: a saddle. She took the quick way back.
Z3Ro's strider's name tag read "Blaza"; she had named it after one of her old friends.
