I thing we should be able to delete posts. The reason why I thought of this is because someone might accidently post something and then they would regret saying it. Or they might say something to a post and then the person would fix the post, so the person would write something like "please ignore this." It is useless. I think you should be able to delete posts.

No support because this was already suggested and was rejected for the following reason if this was a feature people can say anything they want which means that they can get away with breaking the rules...in short sense people would abuse the feature to get out of trouble from breaking the rules sorry but no support because it would be abuse and it was suggested already and rejected

Like Joe said, what if you posted something inappropriate/rule breaking well now the Mods can't see what you posted and if it was bad they need to see it.

No support. If a post needs to be deleted, you can just report it and let a staff member deal with it. This works for spam, but I'm sure that it can be used when a post becomes no longer valid due to edits being made. (As it would then be irrelevant to the thread, so is a form of spam in itself)

If users could delete their own posts, there would be incidents with users starting attacks on one another, then deleting the posts and evidence just to avoid punishment.

It also can make posts in reply to the post completely irrelevant as well. Or in your own threads, you delete the last post, just to be able to bump more frequently without "breaking" the rules because the "last post" was a few days ago, while in reality you're bumping every few minutes/hours.
