Because I think it’s interesting, and also possibly useful information, here are all of the Pokémon that have a type combo that no other Pokémon in existence has. I’ve seen another list include evolution lines with type combos that no Pokémon outside of that line has, but I’m only including individual Pokémon, so only one Pokédex number has this typing:

- Tyranitar (Dark/Rock), introduced in Gen 2
- Shedinja (Bug/Ghost), introduced in Gen 3
- Torterra (Grass/Ground), introduced in Gen 4
- Empoleon (Water/Steel), introduced in Gen 4
- Bibarel (Normal/Water), introduced in Gen 4
- Heatran (Fire/Steel), introduced in Gen 4
- Heat Rotom (Electric/Fire), introduced in Gen 4
- Froslass (Ice/Ghost), introduced in Gen 4
- Stunfisk (Ground/Electric), introduced in Gen 5
- Terrakion (Rock/Fighting), introduced in Gen 5
- Kyurem (Ice/Dragon), introduced in Gen 5
- Volcanion (Fire/Water), introduced in Gen 6
- Mega Altaria (Fairy/Dragon), introduced in Gen 6
- Alolan Raichu (Electric/Psychic), introduced in Gen 7
- Alolan Ninetales (Ice/Fairy), introduced in Gen 7
- Crabominable (Ice/Fighting), introduced in Gen 7
- Mimikyu (Ghost/Fairy), introduced in Gen 7
- Nihilego (Rock/Poison), introduced in Gen 7
- Marshadow (Fighting/Ghost), introduced in Gen 7
- Galarian Weezing (Poison/Fairy), introduced in Gen 8
- Galarian Zen Mode Darmanitan (Ice/Fire), introduced in Gen 8
- Morpeko (Electric/Dark), introduced in Gen 8

In the same way that Muk and Grimer are supposed to represent sludge rising to life, I want a Poison/Steel 1999 Charizard Pokemon that is based on Mercury.

A Normal/Ghost type that resembles an animal skeleton would also be desirable, perhaps even the skeleton of a Normal type Pokemon that evolves by levelling up and fainting during the same battle.

i’ve always thought that a steel/normal pokemon would be cool. i also really like pokemon that are dual-typed with their own type weaknesses (like klefki, stunfisk, orbeetle, etc,) although i think sometimes the results can be a little underwhelming. i would have liked to see more done with volcanion, or more water/fire pokemon in general!

I'm pretty sure Snom and Frosmoth are the only Ice/Bug types.
