Aizen looked at the Mew gravely. "I leave for but 48 hours to meet with my brethren, and I come back and so much has happened..." They looked at Blu and lowered their voice to a whisper. "The age of the prophecies is upon us. The words recorded by the great prophets of our kind are coming true even as we speak, Shining One."

"Yes." Lesso's answer was plain and simple. She smiled her ghostly grin at Breeze.

Blu would listen to Aizen, slightly understanding what they meant about prophecies. Blu had noticed before it had left the fields how the flowers had died and the sky looked certainly strange.

"Okay," she said quietly. Lesso followed them. "What's troubling you, Breeze?"

Aizen was obviously concerned. They had met with the council of Alakazams, and spoken of their observations in the world. They had taken Lesso along with them to learn more about prophecy culture. "I can see that you understand... everyone we have met on our journey has a role to play in the culminating battle."

They took a deep breath before explaining. "For, well... pretty much my entire life up until recently, I was under the control of a Malamar named Slate. I wore that heavy metal mask, which gave him full control over me. I never had anyone to talk to or I guess, be 'friends' with." Breeze sighed, lowering their head. "It's not the best thing to hear..."

"Hey," Lesso said quietly, showing a surprising amount of compassion for her usually sadistic self. "I'm really sorry - no one deserves that, not ever. And your life isn't a burden that you need to carry around forever. A friend is someone you trust or enjoy being around. Friends support each other, look out for one another. Friends are the family that you choose for yourself. And if you'd like... maybe we could be friends?" Her permanent smile glowed just a little brighter as she finished her statement.

Aizen watched from a distance. They were proud of their apprentice; Lesso was growing up nicely. Even last week, she wouldn't have been able to reach out to another pokemon.

Breeze lifted their head, gazing at Lesso thoughtfully. "You really mean that?" Their body shook a bit. "Sorry, I guess I've never felt much of these emotions before. It's... I'm not sure how to put it into words."
