"What...?" Her entire posture seemed to drop. "You want to... kill me?" Her hands fell to her sides. Everything seemed to go quiet, with nothing but those words ringing through her head.

"She's not the real Rhuna, snap out of it! Decanter, Loyalty Program!" The decanter flies right on top of Yeka, shooting out two chemtech missiles that both provide Yeka with a shield and damage Rhuna somewhat. "We need to find out whatever is causing her behavior!"

She got knocked over to the side due to the attacks, then recovering. Her red eyes glared at Yeka, then everyone else. She then took out her glaive and spun it before sinking into a shadow.

Yekaterina whimpered, leaning against a tree and looking around. Didn't Rhuna love her? Why was she acting like she was? Was Yekaterina really too possessive? Would it be best to simply let Rhuna go to do as she pleased? Maybe... Maybe Rhuna hated her all this time. She didn't love her. She didn't.

"The firestarter is right!" Renata snaps her fingers, the decanter floating in a circle around them to prepare for Rhuna. "She's being manipulated, she is not herself right now. We need to find whoever is responsible and make them revert it!"

Makoto huffed, waiting for whatever to come of the situation. Truthfully, he didn’t care much for bargaining, she had nothing he wanted, but Nahida had been trying to make him not resolve every conflict with violence. He listened to what she had to say sometimes

Rhuna chuckles darkly, and it echoed through the forest. Where she was couldn't be predicted. About a few moments later, she attacked from the side, attempting to break the "barrier" surrounding the group. She looked very unhappy, and the aura in the air became uneasy.

"Rhuna, what's going on with you? Why do you hate me so much?!" She yelled to her in an attempt to at least make her falter for a moment. She hoped Rhuna still had at least of bit of conscience left.

Renata was caught off-guard, her handshake missing this time around. However her decanter was swift to move, launching itself against Rhuna to try knocking her off-balance. "She doesn't, whatever the thing behind her is does!" She shouts, looking over to Taboo. "Firestarter, make a ring of fire around! Make sure we're well lit!"

She grew tired quickly, and stood outside the barrier. Her six red eyes gleamed in detest at Yeka's words. "I do not abide to those who contain me so." She didn't sound too much like herself. She sounded a lot more demonic. Her bared teeth gleamed in the light of the red sun of the Wildlands.

"Gotcha." Just like Renata commanded, a ring of fire roared to life again. This time, it was blue. Taboo put the mask properly on his face, before exploding into flames. He appeared outside the barrier, pointing his axe at Rhuna. "Alright, you. You better stop controlling my friend or we're going to find where you are and we're going to rip your skull out of your nostrils." He blasted fire into Rhuna's chest, pushing her back.

"Stop hurting her!" Yekaterina banged against the barrier, using her Reflect power to make the energy ricochet back and forth until it became strong enough to break through. "Just hold her down for me!" She kept Reflect on, walking around the ring of fire and then through it, completely unharmed.

She didn't move at all, as if she was unamused or just immune. "I'm not being controlled by anyone." Rhuna laughed chuckling. "I just simply accepted my fate. I still VERY much have my will." She laughed darkly, hovering/floating above the ground a little with her hands behind her back, looking down at Taboo. "It would be VERY sad to take my friend's life away so quickly."

A dark smile played on his lips. "Oh, you can try." He stepped back a bit, hands gripping on the axe. The fire column closed in on Rhuna, making sure that she wouldn't attack Yeka.

Renata groans a bit, her arm being in this prolonged state would certainly have some consequences. She does hold onto Rhuna as much as possible though, even tightening the grip a bit. "Taboo, let her talk. If you sense an attack, pull the leader away."
