Real simple what this is,

I think at the top of our profiles we should have a Public and Editor profile. This is so we can view our profile from a Public standpoint. This is so you don't accidentally delete a post or misclick on a link in your page. You could just toggle it on or off when you want to edit or not edit.

Uhm, you always kind of view your profile from a visitor's view. Except for maybe contact links you've allowed to show users on your friendlist only, there's nothing on your profile you see but others can't.
