Today, I found a Female Munchlax at Route 53 Honeytree. Its rarity is special and it took be about 40 pokeballs to catch. Does the rarity mean anything and are the catch rates for all Honeytree pokemon that high (I usually scare them away so idk)?

The rarity is mostly an indication of how quickly/much they can breed. Certain rarities [like Special] can't be found in the Lab either. I'm pretty sure some Honeytree pokémon are easier to catch than others.
