Is it possible to get a female hisuian Pokémon from the event distribution and breed them together of can you use a ditto to breed them together? Because I have not found a female hisuian starter

the ditto method should work

Is there the male and female breeding method as well and can they be shiny?

yup u can use male and female

it will be a normal rowlet (if from 2 hisuain decidueyes)
