Tundra shook his head. "stole would be the more accurate
term..."
Barnacle slowly began to stir and get up. Alto bent over and picked
him up in his mouth. Tundra looked around. "I think now would be
our best chance to leave..." Tundra and Alto both began making the
way to the exit of the cavern Blood Tribe lived in.
(Bluejay folds back his wings, to avoid attention, and quietly
follows the others... But he knows he'll need to split off for a
minute later to find his little flying friend...)
Exiting the great cavern, you find yourselves in a land barren
of life. The moonlight simply makes things more eerie, casting
strange shadows over the black rocks making up strange hills and
part of the ground. A few lava pools are scattered here and there,
sand makes up what ground the strange rock doesn't, and only the
occasional grass for vegetation. Southwardly you can see a volcano
in the distance. Not even birds can be heard chirping. You need to
leave this area, SOON. But which way? North, South, East, or
West.
{Barnacle, Alto, and Tundra still exist. I will simply be having
less happen with them for a while, yes they are there in the
group.}
Silver looks at the eerie landscape and shivers. Casting her head
upwards, she looks to the volcano out in the distance.
"We need to leave, it's definitely not safe here." Silver tilts her
head thoughtfully. "I think we should head away from the volcano,
at the very least."
You keep wandering west, until you go through a small cave. You
can't help but stop and gasp on the other side, the terrain is so
different! Tall, tall trees reach up into the air, blocking out the
sunlight. Beautiful colorful flowers bloom around every tree base,
and vines grow up their sides. You can hear water, but can't see
it. Bird calls come from every direction, ranging from those you
know well, like the robin and sparrow, to others you don't
recognize, like one that seems to be mimiking a wolf howl. Besides
the birds, there doesn't really seem to be anything to hunt, but
the aroma of fruit is strong in the air. Alto obviously perks up at
this scent, being the strange one who actually prefers the strange,
sweet, meatless vegetation.
Silver speaks up. "Any way is the right way in my opinion. We don't
exactly know where we're going. We're just trying to get away from
that place." She says with confidence.
Even still, her ears are perked up and she was on high alert, her
tail up as if preparing to signal at a moment's notice.
Unknowingly, she was attempting to assert herself as the leader of
the pack.
