"At least let me hold him." Mercy pouted, Elona just rolled her eyes and threw him to her (to which she easily caught him).

"Gosh, what a big baby you are." She opened a door leading to the basement (that was completely separate from the long corridor with the portal door). "I dragged you around in the manor before you got auctioned and you didn't complain, so don't start now." After everyone had gotten down, Elona closed the door. It was a gaming room, full of consoles and remotes. She motioned for everyone to sit on the center couch, powering up one of the consoles and tossing both him and Mercy a controller.

"Can I join too?" Alter raises their hand, while Iteral was currently in a small bit of heaven, nodding and carelessly following.

(Iteral currently has one of the best things: Freshly showered into freshly dried clothes that are still warm!)

"Yeah, I don't see why not." Elona tossed a controller to him, starting the game. "You're in too deep now, brat. You're playing whether you like it or not." She switched her and Mercy's controller, giving her player one. "Start a new world."

"Okay!" Mercy did as told, the large TV making up for the smaller screens they split for themselves. "Already a village? That's rare nowadays."

"Just loot it. Scaramouche, learn the controls fast and follow me."

Iteral looks confused at her controller and her gameplay would the random chaos all throughout, she has no idea what to do.

Alter meanwhile is quite fast, looting the village pretty quickly and then already using a glitch and running backwards at quite a breakneck speed.

"Jeez, Mona, tell him the controls." Elona ran up past a mountain, then looked at Alter's screen. "What the- ugh, how do you break the game already? Quit and rejoin, maybe that will fix it." Mercy moved closer to Scaramouche, pointing at the buttons as she explained them.

"That button is to jump, this wiggly thing here is how you move- oh, and that one is to pan the camera around. Access your inventory with that, switch your handheld item with those two, and that's for placing, and that's for mining." She smiled, showing him. "Your screen is that one."

"Thankfully I already took the liberty of customizing our characters, you're welcome."

Iteral scratches her head and just walks against a wall continuously.

"Oh, good job, Scaramouche. You're actually useful- that is for being our bait. You're lucky that fall into the ravine wasn't too deep, otherwise you'd already have had to respawn." Elona laughed, throwing some bread at his character. "There you go. Try to dig yourself up with that." She tossed down a stone pickaxe. Mercy was busy finding a good flower biome to make their base.

Alter was in a mine already, going through and slaughtering spiders and bats without any problems. On their tail was a badly injured Iteral, who wields a shield and is shivering as to not die.
