Aqua kept going to the Alpha City in hopes that she could find supplies that weren't in the Resistance City. Once she got there, she walked down a street of the city.

Yumine tucked his wings back in and smiled "It couldn't hurt to walk on foot, could it? There doesn't seem to be much alphas around here at the moment." he started to move towards the stairs but he kept thoughts to himself. I miss walking, I miss everything. Sometimes I just want to cry out to the world and say 'I'm still here'.

"Daytime already?" The nun muttered to herself, gathering the rest of the materials she would need. She had to get out of the city as soon as possible, lest she's caught by the alphas. She was in their territory, after all, but not too far from the city was an old church. It was old, crumbling slowly. But it still stood, for the time being.

"I'm not sure how much longer I can keep up this disguise..." She pulled the hood farther over her head to shield her face from early onlookers, walking hastily away, past the city gates.

"I can only hope nobody followed me." Setting the basket of materials down, she began to set up her altar.

Aqua walked the streets of the Alpha City, hoping not to get caught. She stayed in the shadows but her glowing stripes didn't help her hide. She hadn't found anything interesting yet. Just a bunch of buildings. Aqua stopped and wondered if all of the good supplies had been taken by the other Resistances. Or worse, the Alphas could be using the supplies to ambush her right now.

After setting up most of her altar, the nun sighed.

"I can't believe I forgot the most important thing." She contemplated for a moment, pacing back and forth between the dusty pews. "I shouldn't go back into the city, but if I don't, then what I'm looking for could be gone already."

She stopped in her tracks, an eager light glistening in her eyes. Grabbing her satchel and cloak, she exited the church once more, and headed back into the city. All the way there, she kept repeating one phrase to herself.

"I won't get caught. I won't get caught. I won't get caught..."

Lumine sighed, she didn’t want to actually take in any of the resistance, but she really had no choice. That didn’t mean she couldn’t just stay on watch forever, though. She was content with just looking at them sneak around, hoping that they didnt get close enough for her to actually need to do something about them.

"Finally, I made it back." She celebrated, slipping past the gates and into the city once more. It was going to be harder to navigate the city, since the sun had risen and people were flooding the streets. She tried her best to lay low and walk quickly to the small shop, listening to different conversations.

"Did you hear the news?"

"I heard that another member of the resistance was caught."

"Serves them right. They're such freaks." They turned to face the nun, who had stopped in her tracks to listen to what they had to say. Now aware of her lack of motion, she bowed, mumbled an apology (although slightly incoherent from her tripping up on her own words) and rushed off.

I sighed and put my back to the wall. "So much for living." I suddenly felt a light pressure on my shoulder. I turned my head to look, and saw a familiar red cardinal. "Well, this is a terrible plan, but it's better than nothing." He turned into a staff, and I cast a spell circle to unlock the cage. With how drained and exhausted I was, I knew I only had a few more spells until i'd have to rest for a while. "Ugh, I guess I can't exactly hope for help. I'm an Alpha and a failure."

“Great then! Let’s get moving” He said, did he care that this was an Alpha who was probably bent on destroying him? No, besides, they looked like they could hardly even walk, so he posed little threat
